“exactly what you get for the money, clean and basic and inexpensive”

this hotel is very inexpensive but you get what you pay for. It was clean and very basic. I suggest you stay on the 3rd floor where rooms enter to an inside hallway. It is very noisy at night with the red necks raicing on the street outside.

“Clean rooms and nice staff”

I've stayed at this hotel several times and the service and cleanliness of the room is what keeps me coming back. I travel alone to this location to visist a friend a couple of times a year and I feel very safe there. The brekfast that is included is good, love making my own waffle.

Staff was friendly and actually knew the area well and gave great directions to very nice not so expsensive seafood restaurant

“Problems with Housekeeping”

Housekeeping was understaffed and the rooms bore the merit of this result. Not very clean--had to change rooms to find one that was adequate.

“Good value for the money”

We stayed two nights. Close to Wilmington and has smoking and pet rooms! We really enjoyed the large pool and it was nice being able to walk to places to eat. The staff was nice and thye place was clean even though it's not new by far. I'll go back there again for sure.If you're looking for new then don't go here. No fridg or microwave in room. You're going to have to go elsewhere and pay much more for that.

“Cleanest, most pleasant hotel I've ever stayed at!”

This was by far, the nicest stay in a hotel I've ever had, and I've stayed at all different types of hotels. Although it isn't "fancy", It is centrally located to major roads, restaurants and shopping centers, and includes a free continental breakfast. More importantly, the rooms are spotless, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the outdoor pool and pool area is clean, welcoming, and neat. If you don't want to sit poolside, there are different beaches (e.g. Wrightsville and Carolina), all within a VERY reasonable driving distance. All of this for a reasonable price. What more could you ask for?

“Was OK”

The location to UNCW and the beaches was great! It was nice having breakfast included, even if it was only bagels, cereal, fruit & self made waffles. The room was a bit small w/ 2 full size beds. The sheets were clean, but the room could have used a paint job. Other than that, for the price we paid, one can't really expect more.
