“Nice but a little dated”
Reasonable rate, clean and the location was very convenient to the Colonial Williamsburg Visitor Center. The continental breakfast was just ok.
“Very good especially for the price!”
My friend & I enjoyed our stay at the Econo-Lodge. The area was very good, it was quiet, clean, comfortable. The breakfast was nice but definitely not the highlight. It was fresh & just enough. i would definitely stay there again.
“Econo Parkway”
This hotel is definitely not luxurious at all BUT it is a good place to spend a night or two if you plan on being out & about more than lounging in the room. The rooms & facilities are dated but for the price they will do. The hotel is not far from Busch Gardens and literally just down the street from the Colonial Williamsburg visitor center. There are a couple other hotels across the street as well as a pancake house. There is an Italian restaurant right next door but no fast food within walking distance, if that matters to you. If you are looking for a hotel to hang out in or take advantage of it's amenities then spend a little more money. If you just need a convenient, cheap place to sleep at night then this one fits the bill. One thing to consider, the continental breakfast is less than desirable. It generally consists of white bread and raisin bran. Plan on heading elsewhere for an actual meal in the morning.
“Good deal!!”
My wife and I travel to Williamsburg extensively. When we want a good basic hotel without all the frills, we check into Econolodge. It has everything we need. comfortable beds and (for me) a good Wi-FI signal. The hotel was centrally located as we go to both Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburg in a 2 day period, so this made a good "headquarters". The folks that run it are nice, they keep the rooms clean and comfortable.. Its a good deal for the money!
“As expected from a 2 star hotel”
We had to travel to Norfolk for a race and needed to stay one night before we reach Norfolk. We checked in very late and got up very early the next day. The hotel is kind of old but clean. We checked for bed bugs and the sheets are very clean. It's a 2 star hotel and was what we were expected. It's very easy to find..
“Would recommend this hotel for those on a budget”

“Clean and served the purpose”
It was clean, although outdated. The bathroom was large, and there was new countertop. This is a no-frills hotel, but the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. I prefer to stay at a Hampton Inn, or better, but compromised with my frugal husband to stay at the Econo Lodge for 2 nights while in Williamsburg, beore heading to a great oceanfront hotel in VA Beach. The "breakfast" wasn't attempted, I'm a little too fussy, but I'm sure it would be fine for some. The area was quiet, and navigation to the downtown area was easy. Things really needed an upgrade-new bedding, fresh paint- but for the money we spent everything was fine. Overall I would recommend, like I said, it was clean, and I've left hotels due to uncleanliness on check-in. This one was alright enough to sleep in. We spent most of our time out of the room, and were only there for sleep.
“would stay again on my next trip to williamsburg”
hotel was clean, staff was very friendly. hotel was within 10-15 min from area attractions.
“Good value”
Quiet time of year... good value for comfortable room
“great deal”
We loved the hotel. It was clean, friendly, lots of good extras and very conveniently located. Perfect base for a visit to Colonial Williamsburg and great value!
