“Good hotel but cheaper hotels are across the street”
Hotel was nice, room was small even for European standards. A single bed is thinner than a twin and a "king bed" is two of the thin Ikea like beds together with a large gap between them. Breakfast is good. Hotel Wifi is only free in lobby 10 euros a day for one password to use Wifi in rooms which 10 minutes of inactivity logs you off. Bathrooms are made of fogged glass so if traveling with someone make sure you are close or else you will be embarrassed to use the bathroom if they are in the room. You can see then on the toilette or in the shower while laying in bed.
“Bad Mattress”
Hotel was good, rooms are tiny and the mattress was very uncomfortable
“Smallest room, with even smaller bathrooms, carpet! never again”
Small v small room with uncomfortable beds no wardrobe, carpets which brought on asthma, no aircon, 35 degrees! tiny bathroom and people drunks shouting outside until 4 am. Possibly the worst experience ever. We travel every other week. Irritating Internet log on cards that expire after one log on, so you have to get nee ones all the time and a ver paltry breakfast without quality coffee or hot milk. Lots of room for improvement.
“OK”
+convenience location +good service -only got one complementary bottle of water for 2 nights stay -Package WiFi internet expires in only 8 hours after first use
“Hiro”
The hotel is very convenient and comfortable. One issue is Internet. Free Internet is provide only 480 minutes. Every time LogOff process is needed otherwise run out free service.
“Made our weekend in Wiesbaden”
Good location for city centre . Local friends concerned about the neighbourhood at night but we had no concerns . Quiet at night . Room fine as we only wanted to sleep in it ! 'Bathroom' doors rather noisy if anyone got up in the night . Otherwise everything else satisfactory . Didn't breakfast in hotel : price seemed rather high given what was on offer in several nearby cafes . On Sunday only MacDonalds was open for breakfast but on other days several superior cafes available with different breakfast menus . we did not need to eat in the vicinity as we were visiting friends but plenty of restaurants and eateries nearby. Location very handy for public transport . We particularly liked the apples that were on offer at reception .
“Only one complaint”
The internet service is a pain - you get "cards" that limit you to 8 hours and if you run out, you run out. I needed more time and this complicated things for me. Oter than that, nice place and get the breakfast buffet - very well done.
“Pleasant European Hotel in a Charming City”
The location of the ACHAT hotel in the old section of Wiesbaden and its friendly staff are its best features. I found my stay to be peaceful and relaxing because the City around the hotel is free of vehicular traffic. My stay was further enhanced by the helpful folks at the front desk and a clean and well maintained room. As other travellers have noted, the room was compact, even by European standards, and did not have air conditioning. However, even on the warm June nights that I was there it was not a concern because the area is so quiet that I was able to sleep with the windows open. Morning greeted me with birds singing in the courtyard. The hotel is a 20 minute walk from the Wiesbaden train station and is within walking distance of several parks and the place of interest in the old section of the City. Shopping, restaurants, the spa and the casino are all within a 15 minute walk of the hotel. There are several places to eat on the same street as the hotel and shopping starts at the end of the block. Getting to Wiesbaden was as easy as taking a direct train from the Frankfurt airport to the Wiesbaden train station. When travelling through the Frankfurt airport I will definitely consider staying at the ACHAT hotel again.
“At the very heart of Wiesbaden”
I spent 3 nights in Achat Hotel in Wiesbaden. The location is very convinient for sightseeing and shopping. In the hotel's neighbourhood are plenty of very good but also not so expensive restaurants and bars. From the main railway station one needs only 9 minutes by bus. The staff war friendly and we felt very good there. They heat up sauna for us if we asked. The cleaning staff also did it job well. The rooms are small, but it's not as inconvenient as I tought after reading some opinions about the hotel before going to Wiesbaden. Bed was really of king's size and we slept very well. Although it was very cold outside the heating in the room functioned very well. In the room there was a shower and a toilet separated by a milky glas - sometimes anoying. For this price very good hotel.
“Mostly just right”
The hotel served us well by having a room available when we arrived at 6:00 AM, badly in need of rest and recovery. When we managed to get around we were pleased to find it is located within the pedestrian area of the city. The down side is the small size of the room and bathroom. There was barely space to walk around the beds and the bathroom was squeezed into a space that could have been a closet.
