“Room adequate but breakfast disappointing”

Room clean and adequate - staff happy to give extra tea, milk and bottled water. Evening meal ( extra) was excellent but breakfast was disappointing. The food was pre cooked and served from warming plates - the bacon and sausages were inedible. Plates cold. Tea and coffee from thermos jugs. When asked for pot of tea as did not taste nice- told no. They did prepare poached eggs on request.

“Nice place for a quick overnight”

The hotel was efficent, friendly and clean. I would not consider it to be a place to stay for vacation but convient to Liverpool and reasonably priced.
