The property told us the could not even provide coffee in lobby as water was not safe to drink. Hptel provide nothing but reasonably comfortable bed.

Thank you for letting us know about your stay. I will investigate these issues and get them corrected. Coffee and coffee makers are available upon request at the front desk. My apologizes if you didn't receive coffee in our lobby. Confusion from our front desk agent on the water. We are not required to provide bottled water for the coffee makers as almost all restaurants and convenience stores in our area use tap water for all coffee and fountain drinks. Because we generally use bottled water, and it was not available at the time our front desk clerk assumed that we could not provide coffee for our guest because she is new.we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. We take all feedback seriously and will work to address any issues to ensure that our guests receive the best service possible.

Dear Guest,I am sorry your experience was not as you expected. Our Baymont in Wellington Kansas is a newer facility, under 10 years old. I am not quite sure what repairs you are referring to that need to be updated.I would love the opportunity to correct the repairs needed if I could get more detail.All feed back is taken serious and is used to better our guest experience.

There aren’t many hotels to choose from in this small town. Priced a bit high considering there is no breakfast included or attractions nearby.

We were informed by staff that the Internet was slow but we were in the best spot to get a connection. We were unable to get any connection and when we went to ask at the front desk we were told we were out of luck that there was nothing they could do. The hotel is used by railroad staff and people were coming and going all night long. Not a restful place to stay.

Convenient location near I 35. Penny's Diner within easy walking distance and open 24 hours. I stayed 6 nights and the room was only cleaned once and that was at my request. No coffee maker in the room.

Beds were comfortable. With two of us looking we could find no way to turn the shower on in rm 224. It was either broken or we needed directions. This was extremely inconvenient since sitting in the tub was prohibitive for us.

When we went to our room (after 6 p.m.) we discovered that it hadn't been made up from the previous occupant. We went to the main desk, and the friendly gentleman said it would take at least 30 minutes to get another room ready for us. After driving 450 miles we were ready to settle in, but we entertained ourselves at the local Walmart till a room was ready. No other problems

There is a diner walkable distance. What I did not like was the small area they had with coffee. The coffee machine was old and duty. They should remove that completely. Bed sheets had some stains. But overall it was ok. There are no other options in that area.

Good stay, wrong town
The facility was clean, staff super friendly however…our only 2 dislikes were the firmness of the mattress and shower water pressure was not that great. The mattress was extremely hard, but that’s our non preference. We booked here by accident and realized after our confirmation email that this wasn’t the town we were working in. It’s a small town, not a lot to choose from for restaurants, but there is a good Mexican restaurant downtown.

Multiple issues with this property. Check-in is 3:00. We arrived at 4:30 and room wasn't ready because previous guests hadn't checked out yet. We had a schedule, so rather than wait for cleaning, the staff offered a downgrade to a single queen room. Queen bed was actually a double. They said they couldn't give us the price reduction for downgrading from a king (no reason offered), but gave us free breakfast at the diner next door. NO COFFEEMAKER in the room or on the premises. Only one nightstand so nowhere for 2nd person to lay books, water, phone, etc. Reading lights only on one side of bed. This property seems to be run by the railroad, which has its own rules, and hence the late checkout from the room we reserved. We ran into issues the last time we stayed here too. Will try hard not to stay here again.

The hotel was very clean and the girls at the check in were very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were nice, overall was very pleased with everything and would stay there again.

This is not a good hotel to stay in unless you have no other option. Rooms are dirty (toenails, grass, random debris on floor), stained sheets and furniture. Weird smell in our room (#209) that faded after a time. Getting to sleep before midnight is impossible with all the door closing sounds and sounds of people walking through the hall. There is no central staircase, so fire exits are at either end of the halls. Carpet in room made the bottoms of our feet really dirty. WORST PART WAS AT 3:00 AM OUR ROOM PHONE RANG AND A MAN ON THE PHONE SAID OUR ROOM NUMBER AND HE WAS AT THE FRONT DESK. THEY WERE UPDATING THE PHONES AND OUR PHONE MAY RING AGAIN SO HE SAID TO LEAVE IT OFF THE HOOK. WE HAD TOWELS WHICH WE HAD TO ASKED THE MAID FOR EARLIER ON THE DESK SO I PUT THE RECEIVER BETWEEN TWO TOWELS AND LAID BACK DOWN. AFTER A MINUTE I THOUGHT THAT WAS WEIRD AND HUNG THE PHONE UP. I WAITED ABOUT TEN MINUTES AND CALLED DOWN TO THE FRONT DESK WHERE A WOMAN ANSWERED. SHE SAID SHE DID NOT CALL AND KNEW NOTHING ABOUT A PHONE UPDATE GOING ON. I ASKED HER WHO IT WAS AND SHE SAID PROBABLY SOMEONE PLAYING A PRANK. THE PHONE TREE WHEN YOU CALL THE HOTEL ALLOWS ANYONE TO DIAL ANY ROOM NUMBER AT ANY TIME OF DAY OR NIGHT. Ultimately i would never stay here again.

NOT a Baymont... ITs an EconoLodge...
Was driving from TX to KS and needed to stop. Used the app to find a hotel. This is shown as a Baymont, but it an Econo Lodge owned by Baymont. Disappointed in the misrepresentation. For an Econo Lodge it is overpriced. We were spent, so we stayed. It was clean but not somewhere to stay if you have options.

Wellington finally got a great hotel.
Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. A diner was just a few steps away with a great breakfast. Wellington really needed this hotel.

Total letdown after great reviews on site
Out of all the available choices on our route, we chose this one due to the excellent reviews. It was totally adequate, but not worth the price. There is NO free breakfast-they give you a $3.50 voucher for the cute diner next door. When we addressed this issue with the manager, she blamed Hotels.com and couldn't have cared less. She expected us to contact Hotels.com to clear up their lack of a free "made to order" breakfast as listed. I'm thinking she gets this complaint often. We stayed at a different Baymont a few days later in Salina KS and it was excellent-friendly staff, free breakfast and wonderful facility.
