Business getaway

Posted 18-Nov-2014 on Hotels.com
Our stay was nice, friendly staff. The room was clean, hotel very dated, in need of repairs. Breakfast could've been a little more inviting. The price was right...

Good room for the value

Posted 15-Nov-2014
Pros: Value for the price
Cons: Property in need of some maintanence.
Location: Close (driving distance) to good selection of restaurants.
Overall a good stay. Evening staff was friendly and helpful. Morning staff was adequate. Decent clean room created value for the price. Was in town for three nights for a farm show. I would stay again.

Basic, but nice

Posted 09-Nov-2014
Pros: Price, clean, easy access to Wichita central even if a few miles out.
Cons: Breakfast.
Location: Not much very close. Quick drive to downtown Wichita, offering coffee shops, the Orpheum theater, arenas, convention centers, museums, etc.
Although situated well north of Wichita, this hotel is just off the interstate, which itself (unlike some cities) goes right through downtown, making a stay here just a hop-skip-jump from central Wichita There was no alarm clock, but the staff quickly found one for me. Everything was clean (apart from a little greasiness on the remote control); nothing smelled like smoke. The exercise room was closed for renovation, and that seemed legit. Mini fridge, microwave, hairdryer, coffeemaker, and iron/board all present. The breakfast was about as minimal as it gets these days, but there was yogurt, oatmeal, bagels, and toast. A couple kinds of cereal. The OJ and coffee were pretty bad. But I don't stay in a motel type hotel for the breakfast. I'd much rather save on the room and get a GREAT breakfast downtown. In all a good experience. My second success story at this location.

Expect better - even with a cheap room

Posted 05-Nov-2014
Pros: The comfort of the bed.
Cons: Cleaned, curtains properly installed, broken things repaired.
Get in our room. The curtain is coming off the rod.Huge cobwebs around the room. Told the women about it and she looked at it. I didn't want' to get blamed for the curtain problem. The phone did not work. When we went to bed, the heat and air would not work. Had to switch rooms. The toilet tank lid in the new room was broken - more than half gone. The walls are paper thin. With all the problems, the beds were pretty darn comfortable.
