Not what I expected...
This hotel was the most expensive that I stayed in during my 5 day road trip to Alaska, but I thought I'd splurge because of the pictures on Expedia. However, when I got there, it was a different story. The hotel did have updated bathrooms, fridge/microwave in the room and the room was a good size. However, no food available because the restaurant was closed and so was everything else around the hotel. Additionally, there was running over my head ALL NIGHT LONG. There also seemed to be some sort of construction because there was also banging and clacking. No breakfast. No ice machine. Did I forget to say it was $150/night. I will not stay here again.

Fabulous place to stay!!
Great room, very clean and like that Skky Hotel is trying to help protect the environment by not using disposable items (ie: paper cups, individual toiletries). We loved the complimentary espresso! Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Exceptional
Prime location for late evening arrival and early morning departure. The room is clean and modern with super comfy bedding. Applaud the eco-friendly concept without sacrificing quality. Staff members are friendly and helpful.

OK. Right by airport.
Place is old wood frame. Carpets in hallways & room (more importantly) are kinda filthy. There isn’t a comfortable sitting chair in the room. Bed was good. Big tv. It is ok. I will probably look for something different next time...

Great location to Airport.
Enjoyed this location, friendly accommodating staff and room cleanliness. Beds are very comfy, room furniture is modern and washrooms are clean with slippers and a great shower. Very quiet as well. Highly recommend. A+++

One of the nicest hotel in Yellowknife.
One of the nicest hotel in Yellowknife. The only drawback is the location - being at the airport and not downtown, however, it is not really an issue if you have a car.

Skky Hotel in Whitehorse,YT
Nice, clean, and very friendly staff. My only complaint might be the price seemed about 10-15 percent higher than comparable hotels in Calgary, so I was a bit surprised. Otherwise, the convenient location to the airport and the great staff made for a pleasant stay.

Hotel near the airport
Skky is a nice hotel with large comfortable rooms across the highway from the airport. Staff are friendly and helpful. Had a good experience for my weekend in Whitehorse. I'd stay there again.

Convenient to airport
The night manager was a real grouch but everyone of the rest of the staff were excellent, the facility is rough but the room was excellent, very clean, and very comfortable.

This hotel was very conveniently located close to the Whitehorse airport. Unfortunately, a rental car was needed to get to the downtown from here. This hotel is on the better end of those available in Whitehorse.

Best hotel in Whitehorse!
Of the hotels in Whitehorse this is the nicest. Love the convienient location close to the airport and free shuttle. Checking is fast, bed is super comfortable, and the restaurant is really good. Will definitely be staying here again.

Large, clean room with fridge & microwave!!
Room was very spacous and clean. Bed was little too soft for my comfort so woke up with mild backache. Room was pretty quiet but when people were talking in the hall, it was pretty loud. Very friendly front desk staff and house keepers (they actually greeting us each morning with a friendly "Good morning" with a smile).

Stayed for 2 days after aurora hunting. Location across the road from airport (hotel provides free transport to airport), not in Whitehorse CBD, need to use taxi to city. Nice Korean restaurant in lobby. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Stayed one night while driving the Alaska highway. Clean, modern, 2 storey but no lift. Restaurant is Asian biased rather than standard American/Canadian.

This hotel delivered. Great staff on arrival and clean. After walking into our room, the first impression was so welcoming. It was well decorated, comfortable and clean. The bathrooms were very clean as well, making the stay more comfortable. The beds were very, very comfortable. Skky hotel enabled us to relax on our trip and would stay there again with no hesitation.

Upon checking in the girl at the front desk not very friendly and didn't smile, was very to the point of checking you in. The room was very modern but not warm and inviting. No carpet on the floors you could feel dirt sticking to the bottom of your feet. The toilet had a side push button to flush and was very, very hard to flush, the towels were scratch. The bed was a memory foam mattress which was terrible, sink in and was hot. We turned on the air and for it to come on you had to turn it down to 60 degrees, and then froze. The smell from the Restaurant you could smell it in our room, Not Good! We were also told we would have a free Breakfast which was not true. Also if you needed ice you had to go down to the bar to get some. The hotel is way on the outside of town so you had to drive to get any where. Wasn't Convenient a hotel.

Nice hotel.
Overall, the hotel was very nice and the staff was very helpful. The only thing I'd recommend is the hotel should change the bathroom sink and vanity. It's too small and hardly enough surface to place toiletries.

Skky shines in Whitehorse
Very comfortable room with great shower pressure. Friendly, helpful staff including the airport shuttle driver. My only disappointment was the restaurant was closed for menu renovation. All was not lost as the neighboring hotel had a decent restaurant. I would definately visit the Skky Hotel again when passing through Whitehorse.

A hotel with modern rooms and a nice restaurant
Judging from listings, this is one of the few hotels in Whitehorse with a modern decor. I liked that. Their slogan "Big City Luxury in Whitehorse" is a slight overstatement, though. :-) The restaurant in the hotel does Japanese-Korean-Canadian fusion food, which seems very popular. The kimchee bulgogi poutine was great!

Warm Feel Modern Hotel
This hotel was unbelievably good! My stay here was in the winter, and it turned out to be very comfortable and unsuspectingly good...this hotel isn't like the very large hotel brands, you can tell a care and thought was placed into the room. The staff were very beautiful women from the Philippines, and they brought a little extra charm to the hotel.
