“Not Quality”

The Quality Hotel is clearly not Quality-run down, and old, backing onto a main train line and river-the river could be lovely, but this is taken away by the scrap yard next door. The hotel, while the beds were clean and comfortable, the bathroom was in need of either pulling down, or total renovation. Water was not stable, and when I took a quick shower, was frozen twice. The hot tub was closed down for repair. Cash only for food - in this day and age, and the complimentary breakfast was a $5 voucher. The breakfast was good though. The hotel reminded us of a rabbit warren, and well worn in the same way. Not worth the money-especially when there is a new Nova across the road that is only around $80 per night, and this was more. Sorry, not quality at all.......

Area recommendations

Main road-there is a lot of industry, so be careful not to get a hotel next to the bad areas

“River View with Room Service”

The hotel was clean and well maintained. However, I do recommend asking for a river view room. They gave us a meal voucher upon arrival. Nice surprise. I like the staff, I did not like the city of Whitecourt as there is nothing to do except the Casino, however overall it was worth the price.
