“Extremely Dissappointed”
This hotel is nothing but an exaggerated motel. The price doesn't reflect the overall quality of the hotel. Instead you will be paying for it's convenient location to public transportation, restaurants, and shopping etc. The interior of my room, although clean, was outdated and shabby. The free breakfast was far from satisfactory consisting mostly of cereals and bagels; however, the room service menu offered an array of pricy alternatives. This was my first and most definitely last visit to this place.
“Any port in a storm.”
This was the only room left in a big storm. Came in handy. Hotel is very clean with spacious rooms but the Place needs a serious update. Last redone in 1975?Would not recommend because no Parking or valet --- municipal lot is a few blocks awayand very hard to access. Lobby is actually an assisted living you need to take An Elevator to a sky walk across the street through the old age home and another elevator to get to the rooms. Good value but no frills.
“Worst hotel ever”
Truly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I left 15 minutes after checking in, because I didn't feel safe and the room was completely appalling.
“Absolute WORST Hotel Experience”
This hotel is dirty and disgusting, the bed was broken and the bathroom was covered in mold. The concierge was more interested in texting rather than getting me checked in. This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I will never go back and I certainly would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
“Not kept up - Old and Pealing”
The bathroom was not well kept. The gym was under construction The restaurant was not part of the hotel The restaurant was over priced All in all, a poor choice.
“Outdated facilitiy in a good location”
The location was ideal, the hotel is very dated but the place was clean. For some reason the room did not have blackout curtains - so the sun wakes you up very early.
“Decent for the price”
Finding the check in counter was a little tricky with entrances on two levels. The room itself was quite nice. Large and with a mini kitchen. However the hotel seems to be a mix of rooms to let and an old folks home. It was kind of confusing and the offered breakfast in the morning was laughable. A few bowls of cereal, some cut fruit, a handful of muffins and weak coffee. Totally styrofoam plates and cups with only four folding chair seats at two small tables. A rush of long-term residents at 7:30 wiped to the meager offerings in ten minutes. Kind of a sad place overall but suitable for a single overnight at a good price. Great location with lots of bar/restaurants in walking distance.
“Not Impressed”
When you first walk in you will learn that the hotel is part of senior living community. ( of course confusing!) The rooms need major renovation! Yes, the room was clean but it looked extremely dull! Yeah you have complimentary breakfast in the hallway! It's not worth the money I spent. If you want to be a step above the homeless than I suggest you go there! Second, there is garage parking which cost you $8.
“Bad > good”
Well, I'll start with the positive. They had our reservation, and the security doors lock at 8pm. The girls at check in was nice. And there was a fridge in the room. Unfortunately, that was it. The lobby had a urinal cake smell, the room had a musty smell. There was no signs posted for a ice/vending area and we were to scared to try and wander around. There was no iron, no clock, a coffee pot with no coffee, or filters! The phone was "borrowed" from an AC casino and still had all of that info on it, which we didn't notice until after trying to dial the front desk without any luck! Had to find the menu and number on that to call! We had forgotten our toothpaste, but the front desk didn't have any either! The furniture was like what I had in my old college appartment. There was a fuzzy 19" TV. The water in the shower was yellow tinged! We froze with the old air system on the wall, no way the regulate the air besides on and off. Just plain creepy! Maybe for NY we were expecting too much for the price, but WOW! And they don't reimburse for parking!
“very disappointed...”
i don't recomend this hotel...at all
