“Sleeping on a Cloud!”
They had the softest sheets and BEST PILLOWS EVER!!!! I wanted to take the pillows home!
“Beautiful scenery”
The staff was amazing, they made our getaway effortless and we saw deer right outside our window. Very peaceful, but we had to take a cab everyday to get to the main town. All-in-all a great weekend trip away for New Yorkers.
“will not stay there again.”
"fitted" sheets were awful....bed was not comfortable. over-priced. won't stay there again.
“Really Disappointed”
Room was extremely warm when we entered it. Took about an hour to cool down, on a hot muggy day, not a good thing. Bed was not the most comfortable, and the pillows were very uncomfortable as well. Staff was friendly enough, but after a long day, one expects a lot more out of a Marriot Property.
“Wierd layout”
I'm old and to get to a second floor room I had to walk down a long corridor to take the elevator since I had a suitcase. Then I had to walk half way back to the room. It was a beautiful room. Everyone was nice, but the long walk about did me in and I would not go there again.
“tarrytown courtyard marriott :)”
Comfortable, clean and reasonalbly priced!!!
“Weekend Stay”
Had to travel to New Canaan, Ct., for the weekend on business and stayed here. The room was great, clean and a nice surprise. The location is a little hard to find - it's on the main road, but only has a small monument sign out front. The hotel is not visible from the road, so you have to keep your eyes peeled. I was also there after the blizzard, so piles of snow may have obscured some other signage. When I was leaving, I noticed that the hotel heat was blowing cold through the hallways, which may have been a temporary thing. The cafe/bar area closes early, but there's a TGI Friday's up the road and within walking distance if you need real food/drinks. I would recommend this location - it has a nice pool/hot tub area that I didn't have a chance to use, but was being used by many others. There was also a fitness room. Overall, I would stay here again when in town without hesitation.
“Great location!”
LOved it.. the whole experience! Thanks to Expedia ----- I could do it!
“Not impressed”
The reviews for this hotel were great, which is why I selected it but I honestly found it to be very mediocre. The room was so-so, the bed okay but not that comfortable, and the walls seemed thin as we could hear all of the hallway noise. The lobby is cute and kind of stylish but getting to our room, we were disappointed. It was also on the first floor and faced a parking lot. For the price, it just impress although I imagine you pay a premium based on the area. The only thing going for it was location -- Tarrytown is very cute and close to major highways to get to Manhattan or Upstate.
“Weekend Excursion”
It was a great weekend at the Marriott. Hope to do it again.
