“Would stay again”
Only stayed a night. Our room was clean and spacious. All that it advertises. Exercise room was the best I have been to. Two prof. Treadmills with individual. Tv with headphones. Elliptical and bike, dumbells and ball. Close to highway and bridge. Breakfast included ham and eggs and all other typical options. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Gave us a list of restaurants in the area. we weren't going into the city so don't know about that. But we did go a short drive north to Sleepy Hollow and a quick drive south to Lyndhurst Castle. (coming into NY on Tappan Zee Bridge was $5 toll)
“Excellent room, weird that it's a view of the parking ramp”
Great stay. We requested "early arrival, extra pillows" and were welcomed with a nice suite, requests met. The room was much larger than we anticipated, well-appointed (one surprise - no hairdryer - ??) It was a bit weird to have a view of the underground parking ramp, but who looks out the window anyway ...) We enjoyed a quiet, restful 2 nights - the only indication that the hotel was completely occupied over the weekend was the crowd at Sunday breakfast (absolute MADHOUSE). The location is perfect, easy access for local and regional travel.
“Excellent Stay”
all of the hotel employees were very helpful in helping us with our travel and shippinig needs. this took off all of the pressure for us during our stay. The only thing I would change is that the Hotel's breakfast should stay open at least 30 minutes longer (at least until 9:30am)for the quest that wants to sleep in a little longer!
“Nice place to stay when visiting Hometown”
We enjoy staying the night at this hotel when we are in town to visit family and friends. While the parking lot is tight, it is very close to the enterance and makes unloading and loading of bags simple. The breakfast is fine in the morning. Simple faire, but enough to get you going for the day. Rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. Annoying hotel menu when you turn on the TV but that is rather common and nothing to really complain about. Will continue to choose this hotel when the rate is right for our visits.
“A Most Definite Favorite”
This Hotel was just perfect. Everything was extremely clean and new. It was very quiet and the suites were nicely laid out. I most definitely will go back.
“Helped us out of a jam!”
This hotel saved our trip to NYC. Apparently there is no overnight parking anywhere in Tarrytown. They let us park at the hotel a day before we had reservations to stay to there. Their shuttle took us to the train station and picked us up when we returned the next day. It was clean, friendly, and very helpful.
“Quite Satisfied”
I needed to get away for a weekend for some peace and quiet and I got it. The only problem the first night was that the family next door had a small child that did nothing but cry and apparently the child di all its crying by the connecting door. The room was comfortable and clean. Since the hotel is on a hill the lobby is located on the third floor so any rooms below that have a parking lot view. I was on the fifth floor which was excellent. I will definitely be returning.
“Great for visiting family with children in the area”
Grandaughter able to swim in the indoor pool in November - no crowds and no problems! Appreciate it.
“Good Experience”
From the friendly and helpful front desk to the great coffee served at the continental breakfast, this hotel was very good. They had an issue with one of the elevators on the day we arrived which gave us a few extremely long waits, but that was fixed by day two. For me personally, the mattress was a bit too soft, but that's just me. The location suited our needs perfectly, and on our next trip to this area we will certainly use Springhill again as our home away from home.
“Long weekend getaway”
The hotel was very easy to find from the Westchester Airport. The room was clean and above what I expected. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel was close to full but quiet for sleeping. There was ample parking. Front desk personnel were informative and able to give directions for the area. The complimentary breakfast was good but seating was a problem. All in all our stay was good.
