“Great Stop for Work”

This is a nice hotel. It is reasonably priced and the staff is very nice. The morning breakfast is also good.

“Ok”

I was satisfied with the La Quinta Inn in Elmsford, NY. It clearly was an older hotel that had been rennovated but the room, staff, and the location were all above average. I do have one complaint though. I checked in late in the evening and went up to my assigned room which smelled like smoke. When I had notified the front desk attendant, Clarence about the issue he was friendly, pleasant, and more than accomodating in finding me a new room. However, the no smoking policy should be enforced considering it is a nonsmoking hotel!! I was just happy that I was able to be replaced in a new room.

“Fine. No problems”

Comfortable, very quiet, good breakfast buffet, nearby restaurants for dinner. Staff was helpful. Navigating from the Tappan Zee bridge to find the hotel was a little challenging, but we managed. Return was much easier.

“decent for price I guess”

only problems I had was that there's a door between my room and the next that allows sound to get in pretty well, so I couldn't sleep due to my next door neighbor having the TV on really loud most of the night. also the air conditioner was extremely loud and there aren't any drug stores open past 10pm in Elmsford so I couldn't get any earplugs. Otherwise, everything else okay and the breakfast was decent.

“Smokey”

The first room we were given smelled very smokey though I had initially asked for a no-smoking room and my friend again asked to confirm that before we checked in. When we got into the room we called down to the desk asking for a smoke-free room and were told the Inn was full for the night. A few minutes later a man and his daughter entered our room with a key saying THEY were given this room. All 4 of us went to the desk. My friend and I were given another room. This one was more satisfactory- and smoke free. The 2 mistakes were disturbing to us: the smokey room and the key given to someone else.

“No frills quality”

A comfortable no frills hotel. Good facilities and service. The perfect functional base for a trip to the Elmsford area whether business or pleasure. Good range of eating opportunities nearby.

“Decent price, good location, pretty grounds”

Pretty setting in springtime. Room was clean and OK - price should've included a microwave and mini frig. Tub did not drain well. Pool was decent size and clean. Breakfast was OK, usual free fare - cereal, bagels, muffins, waffles, yogurt, fruit. Location suited us very well for visiting family in Yonkers, White Plains, Poughkeepsie. This hotel offered the best price for the location and the amenities offered. Bottom line: it was clean, quiet, affordable, and conveniently located in a safe area with gas, restaurants, major roads nearby.

“I would stay at this hotel again in the future”

overall, I was happy with the experience. I do recommend a different variety of breakfast choices.

“White Plains show”

for the price, it was an adequate place to stay. Room smelled nasty but otherwise was clean. Breakfast layout was nice. Desk clerk was very helpful in finding restaurants to deliver dinner after our late arrival.
