“Beautiful setting, renovation underway”

We have stayed here every year, for the past 20. The new management has cleaned up the hotel, removed some very dated carpets, and is renovating the restaurants. The room we had was newly painted, wi-fi was being installed, front desk was very professional. All positive changes. The grounds are still gorgeous and the best part of the hotel. Its like staying in a park, especially if you like running or wooded walks.

“Convenient, Friendly staff. Not the cleanest.”

I felt the hotel was conveniently located for my purpose of this trip. I will suggest a little more detail to the cleanliness of the rooms. The noise in the hotel was not insulated in any way. Many conventions were there and difficult to avoid the noise of the people lingering in the hallway.

“The best bed award”

We stay here every year, at least once. Every Thanksgiving, and sometimes in the summer. There have been improvements to the rooms, and the mattresses are fabulous. I tried to find info on them, so I could buy one. That good! Unfortunatly, the better restaurant has closed, and it looks like a little bar in its place. The buffet restaurant is still there. The grounds are gorgeous, and anyone who walks, runs or boulders will have a good time. The kids love the pool, which gets quite busy during holidays. In summer, the outdoor pool is a real treat.

“good hotel in Westchester NY”

I find that hotels in Westchester NY can be very hit or miss. This place is in a beatiful setting, and has stayed in good shape since I first stayed there over 30 years ago. I would not hesitate to stay there again. My only criticism was that they wouldnt deliver a pizza at 11pm, but the ice cream and sweets were probably better!
