The Mount Washington Resort is a beautiful hotel with lots of history. The amenities are outstanding as is the view and the hotel staff. During check in my boyfriends birthday was casually mentioned and an hour or so later they sent a birthday treat up to our room. Later, he was comped a cocktail at the bar when they noticed his birthday while checking his ID. These small acts of hospitality really made our stay special, and set the Mount Washington apart from other resorts in the Bretton Woods area.
We had a wonderful stay at the red jacket we have already booked our next stay! the staff was overly accommodating and friendly the only thing I would say is it could be updated a bit as far as rooms n hallways go bother than that it was one of the best family trips we have had
We had a one- bedroom which held the four of us nicely. We gave the kids (ages 7 &8) the bedroom so we could hang out in the living area after they were asleep. The Murphy bed was not the most comfortable, but it was fine. We enjoyed the pool area and the tranquility of the property. It is about a mile from the Attitash activity center which surprised us, we thought it was right outside of the hotel property. Overall we had a wonderful three night stay and would go back there again in the future

Very friendly staff. Comfortabe, remodeled rooms. We enjoyed the rooms with a balcony. The only issue I could see for some travelers are there are no elevators to the second floor. This could be a problem for people with young children or those with disabilities. The beds were very comfortable.

The staff who operate the Lodge also operate the Townhouses. They are EXCELLENT and SO helpful. The staff in the main hotel has been getting weaker and weaker ever since OMNI took it over. I still love the main hotel but I do find myself repeatedly disappointed by the staff's unwillingness or inability to think outside the box. (and I am not talking extremes, just common sense) Also the girl in the coffee shop/sweet shop put a puss on when I paid her for the coffees with a credit card. It was bizarre. A hotel of this caliber should have complimentary coffee and tea anyway.
OMNI needs to take this place seriously and get into the mindset of classy bohemian elegance...because this is a hikers mecca but we still know how to dress and dine.
