The 10-story Westin Resort & Spa, Whistler has 419 suites, each with one queen Westin Heavenly Bed and a sofa bed. The Heavenly Bed consists of a custom-designed, foot-thick pillowtop mattress with all-white bedding; triple sheeting; down blanket, comforter, and duvet; and five pillows (two goose down/feather, two hypo-allergenic, and a decorative "boudoir" neck roll pillow.)
All suites offer full kitchens, sitting areas with gas-burning fireplaces, and soaker tubs. Wireless Internet access (surcharge), video games (surcharge), minibars, in-room safes, and bathrobes are standard. Views are of Rainbow Mountain or the surrounding woodlands.
Smoking is not permitted inside hotel rooms.

Aubergine Grill - A show-kitchen restaurant where guests can watch culinary masters prepare meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Aubergine serves everything from West Coast seafood and salmon favorites to grilled meats and rustic pizza and pasta entrees.
Firerock Lounge - This lounge provides an intimate setting offering drinks and cocktails. Seasonal hours.

“Great hotel in a great place”
The Westin was a few minutes walk to Mountain Square and many shops and facilities in Whistler. Room service was super efficient and the food quality was great. All of the staff were friendly and upbeat. The pool was perhaps a little on the small side, especially at peak times, but the two hot tubs and a fully fitted gym were great. The Westin certainly was a very good choice for an activity-led vacation.

“Great Trip”
Great location for Whislter Gondola. Ski valet collect your skis/boards at foot of mountain.
“Very convenient for families”
The Westin is extremely well located at the base of Whistler mountain. The drop off point for children's ski school is a 1 min walk from the exit door of the hotel and on the way to the gondola which is about a 2 min walk! The ski valet service provided by the hotel is expensive but makes everything so much easier when the children want to go for chocolate at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate company and you don't want to lug skis around! The rooms are due to be completely refurbished this summer (in time for the Olympics). The restaurant in the hotel is very nice but unnecessarily expensive if you just want a quick coffee, bowl of cereal and toast. Each room has a kitchette and the grocery store is very close and will deliver if you need them to.
“great ski base”
- well-equipped accommodation (easy to self-cater in a junior suite) - close to main ski lifts - offer twin beds instead of queen bed if required ( great if you have 3 guys in the room as we did) - space is a little tight in the junior suite once the sofa bed is pulled out. Not that bad though! - beware of extra parking costs - beware of ski valet costs (contrary to official advice, it's not the only option for equipment storage)
“Very good hotel”
Very good hotel, spacious and clean. Rooms showing their age but revamp due in 2009. Shame no free internet but available at a price. Very well located to village and ski lifts. Very good hotel restaurant.
