“Very convenient, very good value”
We visited the hotel for a 3 day Thanksgiving ski vacation. The location was excellent, being a very very short walk to the main lift loading area for either Whistler or Blackcomb mountains. The hotel was not super fancy, but we did not expect that for the price we paid. It was comfortable and did the job. Service was friendly and prompt (you have to check your skis in, and call to have them brought up to the front desk area...not a big deal and they were prompt, 5 to 10 minutes warning and they were always ready for us). The only real downside was a bit of noise, either from the hallway or from outside late at night...but Whistler is a ski town with a healthy apres ski scene...so that was not unexpected, and we did not hold that against the hotel. Overall, we would stay there again if the price were anywhere similar deal.
“You get what you pay for”
I love the vicinity to the Gondola's and the cheap price, but you get what you pay for. Other than a classy restaurant in the lobby, the hotel is old and poorly maintained. The refrigerator in our room made a lot of noise, and the thin windows do not properly dampen late night drunks. The WiFi is free but has severly limited bandwidth and is sometimes impossible to use in the evening. I recommend this hotel to skiers on a tight budget who enjoy going out at night and do not want to drive or cab it back to a remote location.
“Nice Location in Heart of the Village”
Great place to stay! Located centrally with the village just out the front door. Comfortable beds!
“Will definitely stay again!”
A very good room, in a great location, with execellent and helpful staff.
“nice hotel with a great bar and restaurant”
clean rooms, as expected, hot shower and not too noisy. One of the nicer mid-range options
“Comfortable but not very impressed.”
Hotel was reasonably comfortable but breakfast was so so. It was also kind of noisy at night.
“Great Location”
The Listel is in a great location and very quiet during October. The staff was really friendly and helpful. It's nice to stay in a smaller hotel, with great decor and it was very comfortable. The breakfast was very adequate with cereal, yogurt, muffins, bagels, and toast, plus juice and coffee. Would have liked to see some caffeine free tea available for guests who don't drink coffee. Good choice, reasonable price which includes breakfast.
“Extremely comfortable bed”
Good room. Nice and large. Great beds - very, very comfortable and real queen size. Excellent location.
