Paid US$62 and it was an exceptional value for the money. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Room was very clean with a view of the water. Room was also a good size. Quite adequate for a business stay. Location to Central can't be beat unless you stay in Central itself. Cab was 30 Hong Kong dollars to Central. Would definitely stay again!
The hotel is a huge building located half block away from metro station. There is a shuttle bus (shared with other hotels) to the station where the train to the airport departs. The hotel has a swimming pool at the upper level, the front desk is at 5th floor and there is a gym at the 6th floor. Rooms are clean and full of sun light. However, regular twin-bed rooms are extremely small, it only leaves half meter from the beds to the walls and half meter between beds. At the bathroom, the toilet is probably just twenty centimeters away from the bathtub. However, all the hotels in Hong Kong are like this. Good value for money.
Although this hotel is not walking distance from the shopping area it is still close to central 10 min with tram. Tram cost 2,3 HKD thus inexpensive. Rooms in the hotel are clean, good materials used, proper constructed, efficient. We paid 6500 HKD for 7 days. They have a free bus each hour to central and back.
The hotel is well located with respect to transport. It is easy to explore thr sights of Hong Kong by bus, tram or train very easily. There are also a range of dining options close to the hotel. The staff were obliging, particularly the man who was very helpful as far as what travel options there were available.
Very easy to get to everything, especially if coming and leaving Copenhagen by train. Area is a bit dodgy but no one hassled us and we always felt safe. Room was very clean and quiet, we had a room facing on to other apartments. Very goo location and value for ,only.
Overlooking Victoria Harbour from the Chiu Chow District, this contemporary 28-storey hotel is 500 metres from the University …More
Target at low budget hotel in hk island for just one night, with a convenient location, tram, bus, MTR, eateries within a few minutes walk, make this hotel unbeatable. If just for one night, no open window shouldn't be a problem but a too cold air-con can be unbearable, have to switch it off sometimes. Noise from corridor and on-going maintenance works may disturb the light sleepers.
Get a feel for the Hong Kong of old. Start at the Chinese Central Market (the tender-hearted should avoid the lower floors, where poultry butchering takes place) on the corner of Queen Victoria Street and meander down narrow laneways where herbalists and other traditional shopkeepers display their wares. Don’t miss the world’s longest outdoor escalator, at 880 meters, which also provides sweeping district views.
