Great hotel

Posted 03-Jul-2015
Pros: Free WIFI throughout the hotel was a big plus for the kids.
Location: Easy drive to Jones Beach and a short walk to Macys (almost across the street) made it the perfect location for our family.
Extremely clean, comfortable, and quiet. Exactly what we were looking for after a few days in NYC. Staff were all friendly and helpful.

Pros: This hotelis very comfortable. Everyone was so nice and made sure I had everything I needed.
Cons: The air conditioner could be quieter.
Location: There is a movie theatre two driveways down. Many places to eat are a block away. Easy access to freeways.

Beautiful and well-designed hotel

Posted 04-Jun-2015
Pros: see above
Cons: nothing
Location: NA
stayed for one night. The hotel is spotless, staff is wonderful and accommodating, rooms are extremely well designed, bed extremely comfortable. The elevator and halls smell fragrant- no musty or smokey smell. room has everything you could possibly need- microwave, safe, fridge, swivel flatscreen, 2-person desk. I particularly appreciated the overhead light, which you never see in hotels, and really brightens the room well. comfortable robes are supplied as well. The toiletries are high quality. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay.

Little overpriced. Disappointed in pool facility. Noisy air conditioner and no fan in bathroom. Restaurant expensive. Average stay with above average price tag.

Very relaxing hotel.

I'll be very honest here. This was my second time driving through New York. The traffic is just simply ridiculous. 25mph! I mean I can go on but then I arrived at the Viana and Justin was at the front desk! He greeted me with a smile and got straight to work putting me and my sister in a FABULOUS room that seriously changed my mind about New York. This is about 30 minutes away from all the excitement in a nice quiet area. I'm so happy I decided to stay there and will be back when I have to be in New York.

Cons: The food! Both the room service and the buffet were pretty bad.
Location: The Roosevelt field mall is about 15min away. There's a subway across the street if you don't want the horrible hotel food.
Very nice employees - they were kind and happy to solve our doubts. I stayed here because I was going to a concert at The Paramount and overall it was a pleasant experience. The food was terrible though, nowhere near the $13 per person price tag.
