“excellent hotel”
Stayed for one night with my daughter.staff were very friendly and helpful, room was spacious(we upgraded to business and it was well worth it).Would highly recommend for city visits-close to centre.
“Great hotel”
This hotel was very comfortable and service was excellent - would definitely recommend to others.
“Will Certainly Return”
We found the Raddison Blue in Leeds to be up to, if not exceeding, what we have come to expect from the Raddison Hotel Group. Its location is superb being only five minutes walk away from the main shopping area and the main restaurant areas.
“The only place to stay in Leeds”
The SAS Radisson is the only place to stay in Leeds. Great service, lovely rooms, perfect location, and free internet. That alone makes th SAS Radisson worth it, given the extortionate rates some hotels charge.
“Great Value for Money, and Service Experience”
This is a terrific hotel - much better value for money, quality of service, and room quality than many hotels double and more the price. I stayed in a hotel in London two weeks previously that was four times more and it wasnt a patch on Radisson SAS Leeds. The staff ae extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful The rooms are large, spacious, modern, clean and dont have the horrible drab greens and browns and maroons one has come to associate with English hotels. The shower works, well. The internet is fast, reliable, and, best of all, free. What a terrific hotel.
“Good value for money”
We booked on the 20% off offer which is really good value for a really nice and centrally located hotel.
“Leeds Visit”
The hotel is a very nice building and conveniently situated in Leeds for Restaurants and shops. Adjoining the hotel are shops, cinema, restaurants and places for a coffee or drink. Its so refreshing to leave the car parked and explore on foot. There is no reason to drink and drive here as there are an abundance of places to eat. After a busy days shopping starting at the Factory Outlets off Junction 32 M62 Motorway we proceeded to the hotel to check in at 2pm dumped our bags and hit town. We chose the hotel restaurant and with a 20% discount through expedia we had a very good meal with drinks and the Cheeseboard was the best and biggest I have seen in any restaurant both here and abroad. My young nephew was delighted, 3 large lumps of various cheese, Grapes, a dozen or so biscuits, Celery and Chutney exceptional value and not to be missed. Accomodation is of a high standard with nice modern room decor and facilities. However, at breakfast there are not enough tables and chairs at busy times and you could be ushered to the main bar area where the tables are too low and in our case unacceptable so we waited 10 minutes for a table to come free. Breakfast was good but staff need to monitor and ensure that all on offer is available as Sausages and non smoked bacon ran out and it was a customer who brought this to the attention of the staff. Who ordered fresh supplies. All in all a nice hotel with and would have no hesitation in staying again. Thank you SAS and Expedia.
“Very lovely hotel first class”
I have stayed at several Radisson hotels and they never seem to let you down on the quality of staff and condition of the rooms.
“Great Central Hotel”
We arrived at the hotel at approximately 11am and were pleased to find that our room was ready for us. The hotel itself is located very centrally within 'The Light' complex which houses a dozen or so shops and Vue cinema - it's an excellently located for shopping and nightlife. Our room was 306 - a standard double room in art deco style. It was comfortable, clean and warm (same goes for the ensuite bathroom). However, we were slightly disappointed to find that the only window in the room looked inwards over an internal 'courtyard' type area which was covered with a glass roof. As we were only on the third floor - the roof was some distance away and so we had virtually no natural light in the room at all. This made it feel like permament night time. It must be said that this was the only downside to our stay but it looked like a number of the rooms were like this so maybe request a room looking out of the building if possible... Breakfast was superb and the staff were helpful. The dining area is not that large and so whilst we did not have any problem getting a table at 9.30am, a queue started forming not long after. Overall a pleasant stay and we would return again (hopefully to a room with some natural light)....
“Excellent modern central hotel, but lack of car parking”
This hotel was easy to locate in the centre of Leeds, and despite arriving past midnight, I was checked-in quickly and efficiently. The room was big and modern, with a lovely bathroom. However, it was very hot. I stayed there at the beginning of November, but the room was stuffy and the air conditioning did not help to cool it down to a bearable temperature. The ironing board fell off the wall when I used it, and the toilet seat was a little loose. Main real complaint is that the hotel doesn't have it's own parking facility, so had to park in a nearby carpark, which cost 15 pounds overnight! Would have been better if they offered a concession or discount on parking.
