Great place and location

Posted 27-Sep-2014
We love staying in hotels that are unique and not part of a large chain, one's with personality and history. The Quebecs fit the bill exactly. Hotel and staff lived up to the reviews given by others. Very classy, personable staff that were friendly and helpful which was first exhibited by a young lady on her way into the building when we arrived, offered to help and then lugged my heavy piece of luggage up the stairs with a smile. Whenever we asked for recommendations, advice, or help with something, they gladly assisted us. Our suite, which we took on the advice of other Expedia travellers, was spacious and very comfortable. The hotel was within walking distance from the train station, taxis were responsive when called for by hotel staff, and getting around Leeds from the hotel was very easy.

Was a lovely stay for my birthday. It's right near the train station and trinity centre. Has a nice bar area and the staff are lovely. The room was very comfortable and the shower was amazing.

Room 302.

Pros: Staff lovely and accommodating. Could not beat location. Able to use nearby virgin gym
Cons: Get rid of the nearby pub emptying bottles into a bin at regular intervals through the night
Beautiful room and bathroom. Products from l'occitane and plenty of complimentary tea coffee and biscuits! Hotel ideally situated to station, gym and city centre

Great location, lovely room, very friendly staff

Spent two nights here, ran the Leeds 10k and stayed for work. All the staff were very friendly, gave a great restaurant recommendation, helped with bags and parking, emailed invoices and were just generally pleasant. It's a beautiful hotel and very centrally located.

Gorgeous hotel in the center of Leeds

Posted 11-Jul-2014
Beautifully appointed rooms and wonderfully helpful staff. Quebecs has the most comfortable bed, duvet, and pillows I've ever experienced anywhere; the coffee and tea-making facilities are top notch (real French-press cafetieres and very good quality coffee), with delicious biscuits and fresh apples in each room. The Occitaine Green Vetiver toiletries and extra plush towels were especially nice. The only suggestions I would make would be to provide a few more sugar and milk packets, and to include a diagram of how the shower's very complex trio of dials and stoppers work, since these are not standard types. But these are minor suggestions: this hotel's quality was a splendid and pleasant surprise. I will stay there again every time I visit Leeds. Highly recommended.

Room Grade Mix-up

Posted 30-Jun-2014 on Hotels.com
Arrived at Hotel and booked in. Staff really friendly and helpful. However my room was a real disappointment. Luckily I had my Hotels.com reservation confirmation with me and was able to evidence that the room allocated to me was not the room I had booked. The room description did not match the room I had booked. After some discussion with Hotel Reception I was advised that the description you had sent me was incorrect. After some time trying to convince them the room allocated was not the room booked I was advised that I could have an 'upgrade'! The 'upgrade' was a lovely room which did match your description. The downside it had not been hoovered, the carpet covered in biscuit crumbs and the sink tap in the bathroom was broken. To cap it all I was sitting having a cup of tea when someone just entered my room. I rang reception to be advised that it was one of the managers?

Next to RR Station

Posted 10-Jun-2014 on Hotels.com
Very convenient to the Train Station. Need more staff - the manager, in high heels, had to pull our bags up the steps to the hotel lobby. There were no bellmen available. Same with our departure the next day. Hotel room was quite comfortable.
