One night in Leeds

Posted 24-Mar-2015
Pros: Very different feel and style. Excellent price for the quality.
Cons: More staff when busy in the evening
Location: Excellent location close to station, shops, eating out etc
Excellent hotel - good price, short walk from station, got upgraded room which was really nice. Poor barman on return in the evening was by himself and it was busy, could have done with some help but he did a good job.

Well located, very comfortable

Posted 24-Mar-2015
Pros: Good ambience, well fitted room, excellent staff
Cons: Only thing was road noise, some more sound proofing would help
Great welcome from the staff; the room was a good size, well fitted and comfortable; great location with an easy 2-3 minute walk to the centre of town

city centre hotel, full of character

Posted 23-Mar-2015
I was looking for somewhere to stay in the city centre for a midweek break with my partner, who is not a fan of faceless chain hotels. The Quebecs is certainly different, a lovely building with lots of original features on show including a beatiful stain glass window and impressive stonework. The room was large despite being the least expensive on offer with high ceilings and a spacious shower room. The staff were very friendly and helpful and I would definitely stay there again.

Pros: Location and staff and the beautiful stained glass windows.
Cons: The bed was too soft. The room was at the back of the hotel with a view of the bins and fire escape. Rather disappointing for over £90 .
Overall an enjoyable stay in leeds, an excellent location. It was rather unsettling to be woken at 4 am by a drunken man banging his head against the fire exit outside our room, trying to gain entry to the hotel. A member of staff responded very promptly to our phone call, but it was not what we expected when paying over £90 for our room.

A pleasant stay

Posted 27-Feb-2015
Pros: Style and service
Cons: Pillow in the room, the option of firmer pillows should be provided by default. If Premier inns can do this why can't Quebecs?
Location: conveniently located for the Rail Station, City Centre and Restaurants
Nice comfortable Hotel very conveniently located for the Rail Station, City Centre and Restaurants. We enjoyed our stay here, a decent sized room on the fourth floor. No excessive noise and comfortable beds with the exception of very unsupportive pillows, a firmer pillow was supplied on request.

Location: In the city centre and very close to all activities.

Convenient hotel for city centre and station.

Posted 31-Jan-2015
Pros: Pleasant staff and lovely room
Cons: The continental breakfast was disappointing for the price. Drop the television, too depressing at breakfast.
Location: Convenient for the station, shops, galleries and theatre. we enjoyed opera at the Grand and a good pre theatre meal at quirky Whitelocks.
Quebecs is an excellent hotel close to the station and the city centre, ie you can walk to shops, galleries and the Grand theatre. It is in a handsome redstone building ( the old Liberal club) with limited parking on site but a 24hour carpark 7 minutes walk away. We were upgraded to an executive room which was big and very comfortable. It was at the back so quiet at night. The reception staff were very pleasant and were happy to bring fresh milk to our room.
