“Hotel Quebecs is a great Central Hotel and a stunning building”
The hotel was beautiful, the hallway stained glass window is amazing. The rooms were very nice although I would say it is about time they were updated. But the rooms were clean and comfortable just a little bit tatty round the edges! I would definately recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in the centre of leeds.
“This is a great hotel”
Found this hotel to be a great price, good location, comfortable and very friendly. Although the hotel is about to start some refreshing I would high;y recommend it.
“Beautiful elegant hotel”
Beautiful hotel in the centre of Leeds. Staff were brilliant, room amazing. Honesty Bar!!!! Would definitely stay there again and recommend a trip.
“Fabulous hotel cant wait to go again”
Fabulous hotel very good location for city centre amenities I have stayed here several times and it never disappoints
“Wonderful hotel”
Great hotel. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Super comfortable beds. Gorgeous building. Would love to return.
“Quebecs was fantastic”
We really enjoyed our stay in the Quebecs hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was lovely and clean, especially the bathroom. The only thing that I could fault was that the bed was very soft.
“Lovely boutique hotel”
Stayed on more than one occasion and will definitely be back again. Very individual hotel, welcoming staff who are only happy to assist.
“Centrally Located Victorian Gem”
Handsome ornate red brick building near Leeds Station. We did find parking on an adjacent street (free on Sunday until 8.00am) but its worth noting that if you arrive by car the hotel has only a handful of spaces, all of which were taken during our stay however there is parking (not cheap) at the station and close by. Lovely reception area, oak staircase and stain glass window. Our room was nicely furnished, comfortable and of a good size. My only disappointment was the Oak room which was very pleasant but the 'honesty bar' was locked when we fancied a drink (apparently unlocked at 5.30), we didn't bother with the over priced breakfast. I was surprised that I had to put a holding fee for each night on my card, I'm not sure if this is because we'd paid a reduced rate or was their normal procedure but I've stayed in some pretty nice hotels all over the place and I've never had to do that before. I would recommend the hotel, as a quiet (we could hear the slight drone of traffic from our ground floor front room but it didn't bother us) discreet base from which to explore the city. A couple of roads away there is a rather nice Pizza Express off a delightful square for local mid-priced eats. Its an old fashioned sort of place with character but with most of the usual facilities you'd expect from an expensive hotel.
“Worked well”
This is a good comfortable unflashy hotel. A lot of care has been taken to make the hotel user friendly, such as the elegant "honesty" bar and the really good breakfast in their bright airy conservatory. Two points to note, be careful of the booby trapped room (between the lift and their office at noisy road level) which they tried to put me in first off. It is totally out of character with the rest of the place. Luckily they agreed to put me into a peaceful, clean well presented 3rd floor room instead. Also, if you arrive by car, make sure to let them know in advance so you know where the parking is - otherwise you spend another half hour enjoying the charms of Leeds's "Loop" road.
“Overall a pleasant stay.”
Good location for the train station and city centre. Very good service. Food was only available by room service which was ok, but not to the standard you would expect for a 4 star hotel. The room was cosy and comfortable but it appears that the hotel needs a refurbishment as the decoration looked a little tired in the room. Overall a pleasant stay.
