First room had a strong urine smell coming from the bathroom, quickly moved to a cleaner room. Overall good hotel in a fantastic locatation. Shame about the parking though, wasn't told they had a discounted car park news by.

Central

Posted 03-Sep-2014
Pros: it was excellent value for money, the location was very good
Cons: when you come out of the lift on the bedroom floors during the day there is always a linen trolley and often a bag of rubbish,
Location: convenient for the station and the shopping centers
we stayed one night. as we arrived by train it was very convenient s it is near to the station, the room was functional, with tea and coffee, 2 bottles of water, iron and ironing board.. the bathroom was well appointed and everything worked. breakfast was included

Restless night sleep

Posted 01-Sep-2014
Hotel is fantastic and would recommend it to anyone looking for a hotel located in the city centre. However, when booking a king size room I did not expect to arrive to a king size bed with two single mattress. Booking this for myself and partner resulted in a restless nights sleep.

good location close to railway station

Posted 25-Aug-2014
Pros: location was very good and the king size bed
Cons: Room may have needed a little updating but was perfectly adequate
Location: very close to railway station (as we had travelled by train). Numerous shops within walking distance and the ammouries museum worth a visit 5mins away
Pleasant stay at a well situated hotel. We only stayed the one night but it was a good location for sightseeing and also the numerous shops Leeds has to offer. Hotel staff were very helpful and polite. Hotel facilities were not used due to short stay apart from the restaurant in the morning for breakfast, which was very good, with a wide range of food on offer. Would recommend this hotel.

Two day stay at The Park Plaza

Did have problems on the first day with water going off. However staff were excellent and for compensation refunded my parking charges. Ideal location for shops and nightlife. Will stay again

Nice hotel right on Trinity doorstep

Posted 13-Aug-2014
Pros: The style/look of the hotel was very smart. Ideal for both business and couples.
Cons: As stated above, maybe some form of note system of any changes.
Location: The hotel is on the doorstep to the Trinity Centre which is a fantastic shopping centre. It's surrounded by bars and restaurants too.
I stayed in the executive room; it was gorgeous. It had a very smart, modern look and it was clean. The only thing I can fault on is the water pressure, it kept dropping and then powering back up. So you'd put the tap on full to get some water, then it'll just gush out then drop again. The shower was the same. The staff were lovely enough, but to check in I seen 2 different women because the room wasn't ready, which is fair enough. But I had to explain I was leaving a day early to them both, then again to a 3rd lady when checking out. I had already phoned 2 weeks prior to explain that I would be checking out a day before too, so I would have thought a note would have been left on the system. But other than that, the stay was lovely enough, and I would come back.
