You don't get what you pay for.

Posted 22-Feb-2015
Pros: The price.
Cons: Basic maintence and to be given what you paid for.
It was cheap - but we booked a standard room with a seabed - not a disabled room with just one bed. Also the bedside lights were broken and the air conditioning was hopeless

Great Central Location

Posted 26-Jan-2015
Pros: The staff and the food, the general feel of the hotel was also very pleasing.
Cons: As I mentioned before, making sure the permanent fixtures are clean, and perhaps an option to have firmer pillows.
Location: Five minute walk from the train station, the Royal Armouries is a twenty minutes walk away next to the Quays, the Victorian Arcade is very nice too.
We stayed for two nights with our son, he was very happy when the staff offered him a gift (I had read about this, but knew it was subject to availability so kept quiet), the staff were wonderful and incredibly polite. We decided to pay for breakfast, which again was fantastic, huge selection suitable for everyone. The room itself was nice, but there were a few niggling aspects such as the red pillow covers not being clean, and the sofa did smell a bit of alcohol, but overall the room was great.

Perfect for a city break

Posted 05-Jan-2015
Pros: the staff were helpful and pleasant
Cons: the carpet in our room was quite dirty, so cleaning it would be an improvement
Located 5 minutes walk from the Railway Station and 10 minutes walk from the Trinity Centre. Good value for what we paid

Great city break!!

Posted 03-Jan-2015
Pros: The staff, the facilities of the hotel, and the location. Superb breakfast !!! Quality products and good selection.
Cons: Only the weather !!!!! Not the responsibility of the hotel.
Location: Right in the city centre of Leeds near the railway station with all the city's amenities on your doorstep.
We arrived late in the evening and were greeted by a charming young man, Javier, who dealt with our check in in a very professional but friendly manner. We requested a quiet room on a high floor and we were very impressed by the size and standard of the room, bathroom products very good. Used the well equipped gym, clean and well maintained. On the day of check out we requested a later leaving time which was granted with no problem and significantly helped with our onward journey. The staff are a credit to the hotel company.
