Our latest visit

Posted 31-May-2015
Pros: The convenience to family Friendly staff Clean and comfortable bed
Cons: Bathroom -as above
Location: On the outskirts of Leeds Near airport Gold Acres for walking
Every thing was fine for one of our many return visits to the hotel as family live near by. However, the standard of the bathroom was poor as water spurted from the shower control in the bath and the taps were difficult to turn off. The mirror was in a poor condition with the frame very tarnished. The handle to the balcony was missing some lying out side on the balcony and the rest placed in a drawer.

Convenient for the airport

Pros: The grounds looked great, although I did not get a chance to get out and walk around. Reception staff were helpful.
The hotel was ok for an overnight stay, with a very early flight from LBA.

Business meeting only

Posted 03-May-2015
Pros: The views from the bedroom
Cons: Just about everything. Reception was understaffed as was the bar and so the service was disappointing.
Location: Location was very pretty.
Restaurant was fully booked and the bar was to small. Range of drinks disappointing. Television not set up for Freeview.

Quiet hotel within easy reach of the city centre

Posted 25-Apr-2015
We stayed for 4 nights. Plenty of choice for breakfast. We also ate dinner in the hotel every night and found plenty of choice. Good wines too! The room was comfortable, if a little warm and housekeeping staff were quick to make up the room every day. Front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. Therapists / hair stylist in the Fitness suite were very personable and made us feel very relaxed, which was the idea! Easy access into Leeds by bus - stop is right outside the hotel and good value. The city centre is well worth a visit, especially if you like shopping.

The lake & nature reserve

Posted 24-Mar-2015
Pros: Its location and facilities.
Location: See above.
Your kind receptionist told us about the interesting walks around the lake and to Adel Dam. They greatly added to our enjoyment during our short stay.

Nice hotel convenient for Headingly

Posted 02-Mar-2015
Pros: Everything
Cons: We always thought the water in the pool so didn't go in this time.
Location: Plenty of restaurants and in the area and its an easy route to the city centre and much cheaper than city hotels. Airport is not too far away either
We only stayed one night but as always found the room comfortable and spacious. Hotel has a good sized car-park and most bedrooms have great views.
