“Staff so friendly and helpful”
Staff so friendly and helpful - as were the people of Leeds! Will return.
“Excellent choice”
This is a very good hotel in a very convenient location - close to the station and the town centre. As we stayed close to Christmas it looked lovely and cosy with the Christmas decorations in the lobby. Staff were helpful. Our room was well decorated and relatively spacious, although the bathroom looked a little tired in places. Where this hotel proves itself is its very nice swimming pool, sauna and spa bath, which are perfect for relaxation.
“Comfort & Luxury in a Brilliant Location”
We arrived at the Marriot Leeds around 2pm and there was plenty of staff at the front desk so waiting time was minimum. Checked in smoothly and had choice of options. All details were known as sometimes with third party bookings there can be a hiccup. The room was spotlessly clean and really comfortable with good bedding including four pillows, cushions and a throw. There was everything you could want in this room, which is why we like the Marriot hotels as they are so reliably clean and comfortable. The bathroom was pristinely clean with lots of towels and toiletries. The location is spot on for shopping and nightlife. Had a top night out in Leeds, great bars down Greek Street with a cracking DJ in Quid Bar Pro. I don't usually sleep well in hotels but had a fab nights sleep in the comfiest of beds. Not a lover of hotel breakfasts but this one was top quality with excellent choice. I have no negatives about this hotel (which is unusual for me) it looks great and is really well maintained. It has good bars, restaurant and coffee area. It will be my top choice to stay in Leeds (and I've stayed in a few) and would definitely recommend.
“Hotel lovely”
The hotel was lovely. Room and breakfast was excellent and location was very close to the centre.
“Nice hotel”
Very nice hotel. All staffs were very kind and all facilities were perfect. I can't wait to go back.
“Most Impressive”
I was attending my Godson's 40th. birthday party and needed somewhere central to stay in Leeds. I must admit, the Marriott ticked all the boxes. It is centrally situated and in easy walking disttance of the train station.Checking-in was very easy and the staff very helpful. My room was very clean and everything to hand.Everywhere was in easy walking distance - shops, clubs, pubs, restaurants and I will certainly come again. I would recommend the Marriott to anyone and certainly recommend the Marriott for anyone especially wanting to stay in Leeds City Centre
“Excellent value”
Excellent service especially in recovering property left in the room.
“Great City Centre Hotel”
Great location and great service. The staff were really helpful and went the extra mile.
“Great for a weekend break”
This was great value for money. The hotel is situtated in the centre of Leeds, but in a quiet square, away from the traffic noise. It is a stone's throw away from the main shopping area & is well-placed for bars & restaurants ("Anthony's" restaurant is just opposite the hotel). The room was lovely & we got it for a bargain price. The valet parking took away the hassle of parking up & carrying bags. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone and will stay there again.
“Good in Leeds”
Good quality and service. Friendly staff though very frenetic at breakfast and the odd exception. We upgraded to an exec room on arrival and not disappointed. Can't comment on regular rooms but my impression is that the upgrade enhanced our experience for little cost and a free bottle of white wine/access to the exec lounge thrown in. A minor issue is arrival and departure not helped by tight forecourt and car parking across an open courtyard.
