Leeds Gig

We came to Leeds for a gig at the Millenium Square and the Marriott was central to the venue and the best priced. The hotel was fanrastic, very good facalities and the most important for me it was very clean. The staff were lovely very helpful and couldnt do enough for you. I would recommend the hotel again

Cons: Decor dated .Rooms need to be renovated .
Location: Location good very central and close to main shopping centre.
Reception staff initially not that friendly .Breakfast staff really pleasant and a credit to the Hotel.

Don't eat from mini bar. Very expensive. Air conditioning- just blows air but not cold. Overall a really nice stay with very nice hotel staff.

Pros: Convenience and very good guest welcome
Location: Very short walk from station and centre of town.
Arrived hideously late and frazzled because of a Flybe flight delay. Staff really helpful and sympathetic, had given me a room upgrade. Nice swim and good breakfast the following morning restored my sanity. Great value too for a Sunday night, and very convenient for station.

Nice friendly staff at city centre hotel.

Pros: The executive lounge.
Cons: The lifts are very busy and there is long wait for the lift up when using sports facilities, with no option to take the stairs.
Location: City centre, opposite shopping centre set in a secluded courtyard/square. Great location for restaurants, bars and shopping.
Stayed on one night break with friends. Pleasantly on the standard of room and what was included in executive suite. Nice executive lounge with complimentary bar from 5pm, as well as valet parking. All of the staff at the hotel and Leeds generally, were lovely and accommodating.

Good Central Hotel

Pros: Very central
Cons: Perhaps a lick of paint in the rooms! We had room 511 and the left hand window didn't seem to shut quite enough to shut the outside noise out.
Location: Location is excellent. Myself and my daughter enjoyed it for the shopping and my husband enjoyed visiting the Armouries museum.
Recently spent two nights at this City Centre Hotel. I found it to be a good quality hotel with good facilities and excellent position for access to city centre shopping. Parking is not a problem as you can park immediately in the Trinity Car Park and then the hotel staff will validate your parking ticket for a reduced rate when you leave. Breakfast was also very good with a reduced price if you book it via reception. Excellent selection of choice. Overall a very pleasing hotel.

We stayed here for the night when going to Fleetwood Mac concert - It was booked last minute. The hotel was clean comfortable and the meal we had in the AM restaurant was excellent and very reasonably priced - Only downside was there is no hotel carpark and it cost £11 to park the car in the nearby multi storey from about 4pm to 8 am the next day.

Beautiful hotel very luxury high end

Pros: i loved everything about this hotel top class
Cons: its perfect bit noise form bar downstairs and also could include toilet brushes in rooms as toilets are not very good and block quite quick
Location: trinity shopping centre is straight across road train station is 3 minutes walk theres lots of things to do nearby
High end facilities pool was lovely sauna and gym steam room and Jacuzzi were fab hotel staff were so helpful no faults at all will be staying here again close to all shops trinity and everything is on the doorstep had wonderful time would recommend to anyone

Pros: Convenient for when I'm in Leeds on business and usually excellent quality. Sadly, not this time.
Cons: Attitude towards those booking through other sources such as Expedia. We are still paying guests!
Location: Good central location for trains and shops. Better than being stuck in a dingy hotel out in the sticks.
Staff not as welcoming if you book through any other channel than Marriott direct. I've done it both ways - Expedia and directly with Marriott - far better reception if you book direct with Marriott. I also put a sign on the door asking for privacy as I was only there for two nights and did not need the room cleaned during that time. Having left a laptop and key drive in the room whilst I went out, I came back to find the room had been cleaned, despite expressly putting a sign on the door. On speaking to the Reception team, they simply replied that Housekeeping could enter a room anytime they wished and basically I had to put up with it. I think I was more unimpressed with this response than the act of Housekeeping ignoring the door sign.
