Posted 02-Dec-2014
Pros: Location, room, extra bed added without hesitation
Cons: Nothing really, value for money
Location: Central for shops and restaurants
Looked after us three women very well. Nothing was too much trouble, reception and concierge very helpful. Good meal in the bar.

overnighter

Posted 19-Nov-2014
Pros: Does what it says on the tin.
Cons: The price of wi-fi The mattress
Location: Railway station, Trinity and Victoria Quarter shopping centres, and a host of dining and drinking options (including Bibi's Italian restaurant) .
Stayed overnight with my wife, attending Leeds First Direct Arena, and doing some Xmas shopping. The Marriott could not be better placed for central Leeds, and its shopping areas, and it's a 15 minute walk , downhill from the Arena. We had no complaints with the staff, who were all friendly and quietly efficient. Concierge, Reception, Cleaning and Restaurant staff all presented themselves very well. The hotel's public spaces and rooms were clean, and everything worked that needed to work. Our only minor gripes were, ( as elsewhere ) the cost of wi-fi, and a curious mattress, whose central sag led to us sliding together throughout the night.

Great location for shopping!!

Posted 18-Nov-2014
Pros: Location, location, location Friendy staff
Cons: We had a room for 3 people, one king size bed and a bed settee. My friend who slept on the bed settee said it wasn't the best nights sleep!
Location: Opposite the City Trninity Shopping Centre, with all major shops and restaurants nearby
Stayed overnight with 2 friends for a shopping and drinking weekend. Location couldn't have been better, so close to the City Trinity and all the main shops and restaurants Hotel was well maintained. Good choice at the breakfast buffet. Would definetly return to this hotel on my next trip, the staff were all friendly.

We stayed for a treat for my daughters birthday, 1 of the waitress' at breakfast over heard us talking and came out with lit candles in cakes singing happy birthday with some other staff which was a wonderful touch Thank you Marriott, Leeds

Great hotel experience

Posted 13-Oct-2014
Cons: The only thing I would say is the rooms could be a bit cleaner.
Location: Fab location straight into the heart of Leeds and shopping.
We had a great time and want to highly commend the hotel on the friendliness of service. In particular Adam from the restaurant who made sure we were made to feel welcome, have a lovely meal and wen the extra mile to make sure we remembered Leeds and the hotel, fondly

Wonderful stay

Posted 10-Oct-2014
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
Location: Across the road from main shopping complex and central for eating and drinking.
Booked this hotel at the last minute and what an excellent choice we made. From the moment we checked in, we were treated fantastically. Just speaking to the staff on reception, we mentioned that it was our wedding anniversary in a couple of days time but we were working so had to have our hotel break sooner. Our room was lovely and clean and decorated to a high standard. We ventured out for some retail therapy which is literally 30 seconds across the road ( Trinity shopping centre ) and when we returned to our room, we were delighted to find a bottle of wine, chilled in a ice bucket with glasses and a card signed by staff congratulating us on our anniversary. To say we were flabbergasted is an understatement. It really meant a lot to us that staff would go to all this trouble just for us. I know it has been mentioned in other reviews about staff not been able to do enough for you, but the staff here are exceptional. Anyway, all I can say is, the hotel is spotless, the meals are gorgeous and the staff are so friendly and helpful. I really wish I could fault this hotel on some point....but, I can't, so thank you so much and will definitely be visiting again soon.

Weekend Break in Leeds

Posted 29-Sep-2014
Pros: Service location facilities and breakfast.
Cons: The hotel will need a make over soon it is beginning to look a tad tired but that does not detract from the overall impression of the hotel
Location: Leeds Arena city centre shopping and a huge variety of restaurants bars and clubs. Near to the train station and multi storey car park.
Following an outstanding concert in Leeds First Direct Arena spent and excellent night in the Leeds Marriot Hotel. Room was comfortable but a bit on the noisy side with the windows open. The breakfast was in a class of its own very very good. Staff were friendly and attentive. This is our second stay at this hotel and we will be staying there again.
