Great hotel experience

Posted 13-Oct-2014
Cons: The only thing I would say is the rooms could be a bit cleaner.
Location: Fab location straight into the heart of Leeds and shopping.
We had a great time and want to highly commend the hotel on the friendliness of service. In particular Adam from the restaurant who made sure we were made to feel welcome, have a lovely meal and wen the extra mile to make sure we remembered Leeds and the hotel, fondly

Wonderful stay

Posted 10-Oct-2014
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
Location: Across the road from main shopping complex and central for eating and drinking.
Booked this hotel at the last minute and what an excellent choice we made. From the moment we checked in, we were treated fantastically. Just speaking to the staff on reception, we mentioned that it was our wedding anniversary in a couple of days time but we were working so had to have our hotel break sooner. Our room was lovely and clean and decorated to a high standard. We ventured out for some retail therapy which is literally 30 seconds across the road ( Trinity shopping centre ) and when we returned to our room, we were delighted to find a bottle of wine, chilled in a ice bucket with glasses and a card signed by staff congratulating us on our anniversary. To say we were flabbergasted is an understatement. It really meant a lot to us that staff would go to all this trouble just for us. I know it has been mentioned in other reviews about staff not been able to do enough for you, but the staff here are exceptional. Anyway, all I can say is, the hotel is spotless, the meals are gorgeous and the staff are so friendly and helpful. I really wish I could fault this hotel on some point....but, I can't, so thank you so much and will definitely be visiting again soon.

Weekend Break in Leeds

Posted 29-Sep-2014
Pros: Service location facilities and breakfast.
Cons: The hotel will need a make over soon it is beginning to look a tad tired but that does not detract from the overall impression of the hotel
Location: Leeds Arena city centre shopping and a huge variety of restaurants bars and clubs. Near to the train station and multi storey car park.
Following an outstanding concert in Leeds First Direct Arena spent and excellent night in the Leeds Marriot Hotel. Room was comfortable but a bit on the noisy side with the windows open. The breakfast was in a class of its own very very good. Staff were friendly and attentive. This is our second stay at this hotel and we will be staying there again.

Great stay

We stayed here for two night. Staff was willing and helped us change the upper to a lower floor. Friendly lounge, good room service. Parking is a bit far (across the park) but for $20/day they're willing to park it for you :) Location is great - no complaints :)

General review

Posted 08-Sep-2014
A nice hotel centrally located and very handy for the city centre. The rooms were nice, clean and tidy and well furnished. The breakfast was excellent and the staff polite and helpful and we had a comfortable, peaceful stay. My only criticism was the pool area, where the ceiling was a complete mess with tiles missing and a lot of those present being stained and dirty. Not what you want to look at when trying to relax and not what you expect from a hotel like that and distracted from an otherwise nice stay.

Can't wait to stay again!

Posted 29-Aug-2014
Pros: Everything!
Cons: Bathroom could do with updating a bit.
Location: Walking distance of station and right in the city centre for shopping.
I have to say that I expected another run of the mill hotel when I booked. We only needed a room for one night so wasn't looking for too much luxury. On arrival we checked in immediately and were in our room within a few minutes. The room was lovely and spacious with really comfortable beds and clean crisp bed linen. There is a good choice on the TV and the minibar was well stocked. There was also a safe which was big enough for a laptop. After a very comfortable night we went down for breakfast at 10.30, which is only half an hour before the finish of breakfast. There was plenty of freshly cooked food available which was of excellent quality which was really nice as I thought we may have missed the best of the food being so late down. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. I really do feel that I want to go back to stay again and that this hotel should feel proud of the service they give!
