“Great value”

Booked on a special deal through Expedia at a very good rate, even cheaper than the travel lodge. Superior rooms to the travel lodge but less convenient location, although the car park next door is a bonus, and in reality its barely a 10 minute walk to the major office buildings or the city centre. Food is some what basic, but the shepherds pie I had was adequate and edible, two good Indian restaurants and a pizza express just round the corner. If you're staying all week ask at the carpark office about a weekly ticket. What ever you do do, book in advance, the room rate advertised in reception is £99, at that price I would have felt severely underwhelmed.

“quiet and comfortable”

The hotel was near the city centre in a quiet modern residential complex near the Leeds- Liverpool canal. It was excellent value for money as a buffet breakfast was included.

“Good choice”

We wanted a hotel that was easy to find (follow signs to The Armories), that had good parking (right next door and subsidised by hotel), within walking distance of shops ( a 15 min stroll) and a choice of excellent eateries withing 5 min walk (Pizza Express right next door and several a short walk away) . A tick to all and I will return here in the future. Hiotel clean and comfortable. Good staff. Breakfast was worth having.

“Would stay again”

The hotel was in a good location, clean and very friendly staff. My room was simple but comfortable, dinner wasn't the best but the breakfast was lovely.

“Convenient”

A clean, convenient hotel - a short walk from city centre and perfectly adequate breakfast. Parking is next door in the multi-story for a special rate of £7 per night - no problems and no complaints.

“Don't believe the details”

A good hotel but - no internet in the rooms - you ahve to sit tin the bar to work. Cables are all there but I was told at the desk that the rooms do not have internet access, nad this had been the situation for a while. Very disapointing as I had chosen this hotel so I could sit in my room and catch up on work.

“Good value for money in an interesting location.”

We enjoyed the location of this hotel, particularly because it was in easy walking distance (along the canal/river footpath most of the way) from the main railway station. Despite having read slightly negative reviews about the hotel breakfast, we thought it was great - OK, no bacon and eggs, but a really generous buffet-style continental breakfast. The hotel staff were friendly and welcoming and the room was fine, with a lovely shower. No complaints!
