Excellent value budget hotel.

Posted 26-May-2015
Pros: Location, staff, room
At £35 per room I wasn't expecting too much but was pleasantly surprised. Room was clean, bed comfortable, good supply of tea/coffee. Staff friendly & helpful. Location is fantastic for bars, shops & station. Beats Travel Lodge for me and will definately be using again.

Location Mattered Most

Posted 26-May-2015
Pros: The hotel is right next to the railway station. It provides a convenient shopping, resting and transport point for wondering the city.
Cons: Other facility such as bedding and toilet lock need maintenance to bring it up to standard.
Location: Ten minute walk to the Armoury Musemum, explore Leeds City market, exhibition in town hall square
This is the second time I stay in the hotel. The first time I stayed in a room on 3rd floor facing the street and station. The noisier than usual background may be a little bit annoying during the night if you are noise sensitive. This time I stayed in a room on the top floor which si much quieter during the night but you have walk up one floor as the escalator didn't reach it.

Pros: Price and locality.
Location: Close to main railway station (but no noise problem) and handy for city centre.
Cheap and cheerful but with all the essentials required. Disabled guests should inform the hotel when booking to ensure a room that is easily accessible, as it is a bit of a rabbit warren.

Surprisingly Good Value for Money

Posted 17-Apr-2015
I wasn't expecting much for £40 but it was pretty good. Clean, quite and comfortable. I've stayed in worse places for £60. A few tweaks and they could charge more.

Leeds layover

Posted 01-Apr-2015 on Hotels
Fine for a one night business stay. Very central and easy to find. Quite a maze of different levels but room nice and bed very comfortable. Only issues were (a little) noise from room next door and really weak water pressure from shower Would definitely stay here again
