Pros: Price and locality.
Location: Close to main railway station (but no noise problem) and handy for city centre.
Cheap and cheerful but with all the essentials required. Disabled guests should inform the hotel when booking to ensure a room that is easily accessible, as it is a bit of a rabbit warren.

Surprisingly Good Value for Money

Posted 17-Apr-2015
I wasn't expecting much for £40 but it was pretty good. Clean, quite and comfortable. I've stayed in worse places for £60. A few tweaks and they could charge more.

Good value for money and location. We didn't have the breakfast so can't rate for that.

Good central location close to railway station

Posted 31-Mar-2015
Pros: Central location
Cons: Rooms need refurbishment and needs better soundproofing from street noise
Location: Plenty of shops, bars and restaurants and convenient for art gallery and O2 academy
The hotel could do with some refurbishment but was fine for weekend stay and night out in Leeds. Room nice and warm and bed comfortable. Main room light didn't work so had to use bedside light. Street noise until well into early hours at weekends so take earplugs!

Not Good

Posted 27-Mar-2015
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
Staff at night and Duty manger were rude, messed my payment up. I left to stay at a better hotel. Paid 3 time as much at The Queens in Leeds but it was 100% worth it the Discovery Inn Hotel Leeds is worst hotel I have ever stay in some of the staff are just Rude people. I made a mistake booking in there in the first place.

Pros: Very Convenient for rail station and city centre; good supply of tea, coffee and milk.
Cons: Secondary glazing needs looking at as full closure is impeded by net curtain wires.
Location: Close to excellent shopping centre and reasonable distance to theatres.
Comfortable room with large bathroom; very clean and comfortable bed; double glazing reduces the noise from traffic outside.

One night stay

Posted 15-Mar-2015
Had a problem on checking in....lift or stairs to 3rd floor reception, also room allocated was on top floor (6) but had flight of stairs to acces when leaving elevator...not stated on ad or on booking details...unable to manage stairs so had to be allocated another room, this was very small and lots of dust clearly seen between bedside cabinet and wardrobe but rest was clean but dated. Large bathroom n shower all very clean, had to ask for extra pillows...very flat, matress firm but comfortable. Major problems on leaving...lift being serviced so out of use! Way out by stairs only...three floors down and no previous notification!!!, caused major mobility difficulties on departure. I would not use this hotel again however my able bodied friends had no issues. Hotel information should be updated to warn potential customers with mobility difficulties...saves much embrassment and frustration!

Excellent location so will save time and money eg

Posted 05-Mar-2015
Pros: Location, friendly staff
Cons: Bathroom plumbing a bit tired
Location: Shopping, Nighlife Museaum, all in walking distance
Good location and walking distance to station, which is good. Only bad point the plumbing in the bathroom could have been better, but overall good, Shame Breakfast not included, but eat elswhere as so central
