Got a good price on-line. Very handy to down town and the University. It is still the rail road hotel; easy to hop on trains to local sights such as The Moor, Saltaire and the canal/lock system, and also to get out of town by public transport. Parking cramped, but free and seemed safe. The Fitness Center is an open area with a trainer, but no machines as we would expect in the US. Dining room great for a meat and potatoes guy like me. Seems that there is no haute option in Bradford but plenty of etnic (of limited variety). I will be making further trips to the area and staying at the Midland.

Easy walk from the train station and well situated. This hotel conceals wonderful apartment rooms, consisting of wet room bathroom, large bedroom and living space with kitchen adjoined.
Enjoyable little touches such as bread already in the room, with a selection of conservatives as well as a chocolate bar.
Thank you for a wonderful stay
This is a really good base if you are visiting Huddersfield as it's near to the town centre and the university. The staff are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are very tastefully decorated and have everything you could ask for and the public areas are very nice too. Overall a lovely hotel .

One of the most welcoming hotels I have stayed in, especially while on business. The hotel team can't do enough to accommodate your comfort. Very comfortable beds, pillows and bathrooms are excellently designed. Fantastic wifi, brand new and superfast recently upgraded, perfect for work. Limited menu but excellent choice and extremely well cooked. Brilliant location and easy, safe parking.
Stayed overnight with my wife, attending Leeds First Direct Arena, and doing some Xmas shopping. The Marriott could not be better placed for central Leeds, and its shopping areas, and it's a 15 minute walk , downhill from the Arena. We had no complaints with the staff, who were all friendly and quietly efficient. Concierge, Reception, Cleaning and Restaurant staff all presented themselves very well. The hotel's public spaces and rooms were clean, and everything worked that needed to work. Our only minor gripes were, ( as elsewhere ) the cost of wi-fi, and a curious mattress, whose central sag led to us sliding together throughout the night.
