“A Different Airport Hotel”

This is a Georgian Coaching Inn historically sited on the old London to Brighton Road. Its decor is not modern but essentially charming, clean, and tidy, yet around 200 yrs old or so . The Shopping centre and Mall are within convenient walking distance with the railway station/bus centre close by. Also there are traditional British pubs at hand , We prefer this to being isolated on busy main roads of modern Airport hotels . It is located about 5 miles South of Gatwick and we generally take a an inexpensive city bus ride to the Airport. Al in all very pleasant, relaxed, and good value .

“Business Traveller loves bit of fun”

Hotel is located in central part of Crawley town surrounded by restaurents, pubs, shops and businesses. Hotel comes with free car park which is a plus. Comfortable very spacious room. On the downside: - The heater was on at max and no way to turn it down. I have to leave the window open all night. So please check this with the hotel staff before checking in. This was a big issue. Very uncomfortable. - Cleanliness is good but its not excellent. Again if you take the cost of the room the cleanliness is above acceptable standards. The room is very clean. - The reception is located at the back hence people randomly walk through the front door. Not sure if that's something secure if you are carrying valuables. They do have a safe. - When I booked the hotel they advertised in Expedia and verious other web sites that Gmy pass is complimentory but at the desk I came to know that program was discontinued. I was dissapointed because I could have stayed in a different hotel with a gym. I like workingout... - Some staffs were curtious but some are not. This is something you find in daily life so it wasn't a big issue for me buut just want to point it out... I arrived from a long flight from US a little early to the desk (around 11AM). The person at the receptions wouldn't check me in till 2PM. Luckily I had a car so I ldrove around till 2. Hotel should review this policy. Apart from these minour issues, my stay at the Ramada Crawley was enjoyable. and pleasent one...

“Great price for large room.”

When i first arrived the approach to the hotel concerned me as there were a few young gangs hanging about. The car park was very small and I only managed to just get a space. When i checked in the gentleman on the desk was ok, he didnt particulary welcome me but also wasnt rude. When I went up to my room, I was very pleased, the room was really good size and comfortable and free wifi :-) I didnt leave my room as I was on business. This hotel was great for the price, I wouldnt of paid much more to stay in this hotel.

“Reasonable hotel”

It is right in the town centre and quite close to the train station. The breakfast is cheap, only £5. But the types of food are limited. The check out time is too strict, 12.00 pm at latest.

“Uncomfortable”

Beds were very uncomfortable and the room was exceptionally hot even with the radiator off. Otherwise fairly good value for money.

“OK location”

Good location - room seemed partially cleaned, helpfull staff. It is an old quirky building surrrounded by pubs and restaurants. don't expect a motorway motel. Easy access to LGW - which is what was needed.
