It was further away from Gatwick than I expected. But good hotel and breakfast. No fridge in the room

It won’t affect all guests but it was not possible to obtain a vegan/vegetarian sandwich at lunchtime our second choice was for the tomato soup but that is only available in the evening it was on the menu given to us! . Our vegan burger meal in the evening was nice.

We were disappointed upon arrival that we did not receive the room we had booked. Although we had reserved a king, we were put into a standard double with the comment that that is the rate we had paid. The room itself was nice. Newly renovated and clean but no power on either side of headboard. Although a nice property and hotel, we won’t return as there is no airport shuttle and cabs/Uber are expensive.

Surprisingly good hotel. We were not there for the airport but for a party in a nearby village. Really nice lobby, great bar and restaurant (which was not expected) and helpful, polite staff. Will book HI in the future.

Rooms clean, hotel good condition, however one of the reception staff was rude, we asked if we could have rooms together but the demale staff member didn't seem to want to help. We were given wrong directions to rooms as the hotel is labyrinth with poor signage to find rooms. Car parking was limited for disabled

They charge £12.50 for 1 nights parking, which, added to the cost of the room, makes it uncompetitive for the area. The extractor fan in the bathroom runs continuously. Breakfast is included. It was ok but the hot food wasn't!

Nice rooms and good quality beds excellent sleep. Nice clean bathroom even have a none slip rubber mat in the bath/shower. Reception staff very amiable and the restaurant was nice and relaxing with a decent menu, enjoyed it

The most impressive aspect of our stay was the superb and positive staff team. Excellent service, they made us feel very welcome and interacted positively and sensitively to the various visitors who had Down Syndrome who were competing in a local swimming competition. The food was excellent and the hotel very clean and organised.

I really enjoyed my stay here, the staff were all very warm, friendly & helpful. The only reasons for the 4 star was that the fridge didnt go cold & the parking was a bit steep as i met my partner there which meant we ended up paying for parking twice. Other than that it was lovely and i would definitely stay again.

The parking should be free if you are booked into the hotel and should not be an extra charge, that is the only criticism I have

Pleasant start turned bad
Stay was pleasant until it hit night. Heating wasn’t working and the room was freezing cold, which isn’t good when my partner suffers with extreme flare ups of nerve pains. The thermostat in the room was showing service sign, went to reception at around 11pm and no one was there. Went back at 12am no one was there again. Had to spend the night in freezing conditions. Complained the next morning upon checkout. Receptionist acted like they cared but really didn’t. Said manager would call, been over a week and still no call. Shocking for the price
