“Ideal Gatwick stop-over location”

Good hotel, good staff, easy to find (if your phone doesn't run out of battery!!), and an excellent vacinity to Gatwick. No problems on a Saturday morning to get to the airport by car. Good food, variety and timings for meals. Accomodated me and my family well withe a good sized room at a quality price. Ample FREE parking on site.

“Daughter Break”

I wanted to take my daughter (16) to the south coast of England as she has moved back with her mum and I was making the first visit since that happened This hotel offered the convenience of location at the "crossroads" of places to visit. The price was also right and twin rooms were available.

“Great on a budget.”

Stayed one night October 2011 whilst on business. Hotel and room very clean and well maintained. Unfortunately room was near lift which was making some pretty loud noises when being used. Ensuite adequate but only a shower and no bath. Bed comfortable. Reasonable rate paid online for one night (including continental breakfast) which seemed fair for the area ( around HALF the rate advertised at reception) wouldnt want to pay any more though. A good, modern BUDGET hotel suitable for an overnight stay.

“Great value for a hotel by Gatwick”

The hotel was excellent. We got a great price on a modern clean hotel room. If we had paid twice as much, we might have gotten a somewhat higher quality room but everything about this hotel was much better than expected.

“Excellent Value Accomodation”

Stayed at the Holiday Inn Express for one night enroute to Gatwick Airport. It was everything we needed for a one night stopover. Large modern pleasant room, comfortable bed (even a choice of pillows- soft or firm). We had a disabled access room. Not because of disability, but the offer we had booked was that room style. This room was on the 2nd floor but easily accessible by lift. The room had no bath but a level entry shower with pull down seat, grab rails etc., but we felt an actual wheelchair user may have found the door entrance to the room only just adequate (it didn't look any wider than the usual Holiday Inn Express room door). Breakfast was included in the room rate, it's not a full cooked breakfast, but the food on offer (toast, croissants etc) was adequate and there was sausage and scrambed egg available (and a first- the egg was not watery which is usually the case when it is kept hot). Plenty of free parking and across the car park is a Harvester restaurant, again very convenient for an evening meal and those people craving a fully cooked breakfast, could go over there. Overall the price was excellent for the facilities provided and I would definitely use it again. Gatwick airport is approx a 15 minute drive away.

“God option for Gatwick”

Stayed due to early flight from Gatwick, same price as Travelodge but 100% better. Clean, comfortable but can't really comment on facilities/area checked in at 20:00 and checked out 06:00.
