This was a nice hotel to stay for a night.
They served breakfast and food was OK.
I didn't like the set up of the room, I'm not used the hotels to have the 'kitchenette' in the bathroom. No door in between the toilet and kitchenette. I hated it!
The drive up the hill to the Sky Ranch Lodge was beautiful and right away we spotted a hiking trail as well as a scenic look-out area. When we pulled up to the lodge we weren't sure what to expect, the outside of the buildings were dated but very well maintained. We entered the lobby and right away was greeted by a friendly woman who checked us in early with no extra charge. She handed me two metal, old school keys which I thought was strange. I couldn't tell you the last time I used keys at a hotel. Almost forgot they upgraded our room to one with a mountain view.
We drove around to our building which provided plenty of parking. Our room was on the second story a and when we entered the room we were surprised by how roomy and clean it was.
We even had a balcony with a table and chairs to sit and enjoy the gorgeous red rock views. Our room had two queen comfy beds, fireplace, microwave, coffee maker, mini fridge and a seating area. The bathroom was small and a little dated but everything was clean and worked without issue.
The views were incredible!! Pool area was great and lots for the kids to do. Will be going back in a few months and plan on staying longer.
Nice hotel with decent sized pool and seating in lobby area by fountain. Pictures are a little flattering so adjust your expectations. Close to town and shops. Overall a good experience. Excellent staff.
Husband and I were looking for a quick getaway from Phoenix . Found the reviews to be helpful.
Nice , clean , decor was attractive and bed was very comfortable. The only thing the room did not provide was an iron , but the front office staff was happy to provide . The breakfast set up was good. & convenient . We liked it was located a little off the main drag of Sedona's touristy shops which was nice. Near by Restaurant up the road called the Barking Frog was excellent - don't let the name fool you- the decor and food was excellent. We would definitely return.
They were very nice to us. Studio was very spacious and perfect for our vacation needs. Used the hot tub, very relaxing and convenient. The pool was down the street so not as convenient. They allowed me to plug in my electric car so that was a major bonus in my books.
I hope to return for more time in Sedona and will likely stay at same resort.

Everything was great. The room was clean, bed comfortable, location nice, staff friendly, and the breakfast was good. I had one minor problem but I don't necessarily blame the hotel or staff for the problem. I got the Jacuzzi room and the jets in the tub didn't work. Didn't really know what the issue was and it was late at night so we didn't want to call the staff to fix it. It was disappointing since we paid extra for the deluxe room but it didn't quite work as intended. The next morning we tried to use the blow dryer and it didn't turn on. Checked out the outlet it was plugged into and it was a GFCI outlet. I hit the reset button on the outlet and the blow dryer worked, as well as the tub jets! Problem fixed. Told the girl at the front desk about it when we checked out. Was hoping for maybe some kind of discount but she just apologized and said she would let the maintenance staff know. It's okay though.
My husband and I went away for our 25th anniversary to the Adobe Grand Villas. We were pampered and spoiled by the wonderfully attentive staff at this beautifully decorated oasis. Chef Michael delighted us daily with his culinary masterpieces. We highly recommend this wonderful place to anyone who wants to treat themselves to a magical experience.
Locals live and shop in West Sedona, which has earned the nickname “The Real Sedona.” This community is directly north of Red Rock State Park, a 286-acre site once part of a private ranch. The park’s trails provide close views of the flora, fauna, and distinct geology. Those averse to hiking can explore the red rocks in with style: Pink Jeep Tours’ off-road adventures are a tourist favorite.
