“Would recommend - great value”

The West Hartford Inn was not only very inexpensive, but also charming and close to St. Joseph College. It featured a great continental breakfast, and my room was HUGE. (Compared to anything you'll find in a large city - that's the great advantage of suburban hotels - they can afford to take up a lot of space.) The hotel is not new, but quite comfortable and clean. They use real keys in the doors, so I felt like I was stepping back into the past (but in a good way). It's in a pretty suburban area, so there isn't too much within walking distance, but there are a few restaurants within a three-block radius. Would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the West Hartford area.

“Basic Accomodations”

If you want a basic, no frills, cheap stay, this is the place. But please note that there is a nightclub in the building, so it is loud and there is clientele coming in and out all night.

It was a little overpriced but the location was near everything. Beds were a little uncomfortable and there was no pool, but the workers were awesome

Outdated; rundown; claustrophobic; very uncomfortable beds. I stayed here for the location. I would have preferred a very clean, updated room with a longer daily commute than save a few minutes drive to stay in a hotel that doesn't meet my comfort level. If you do not have a car and must stay in West Hartord, then West Hartford Inn may be tolerable. If you have a choice, keep looking.

“hotel ok - description not”

i expected to get a motel walking distance from Mayo Clinic - NOT! also, NO tea, paper or plastic cups, little soaps, shampoos, etc etc in the room. staff was nice, tho.
