"A secluded, peaceful place to get away from it all"
The manager, David, was absolutely one of the nicest guys I've ever met. From the moment he picked us up at the airport, to the departure selfie he took with us upon leaving - his kindness, helpfulness and hospitality were stellar. Chef Ken - wow, what can we say? His food is by far some of the best we'd ever had. My wife and I ate more than usual because his dishes were so delicious. The kite burger is spectacular, the smoothies are refreshing, and everything we experienced was over the top. Then there was the steak. It was out of this world good, and we would make the trip again just for that one meal.
In our opinion, anyone looking for something a little different to do in the Cayman Islands, and want some time to enjoy the seclusion and privacy of a quiet cove, they should give this spot a try. We picked up a bottle of Jameson at the liquor store on the way back to the resort, and enjoyed one of the best St. Patrick's Days ever. There is so little light pollution that we were able to see more stars than we've seen before. We sat out on the pier and talked and sipped drinks and watched the sky for hours on end.
To sum up, I'd say give this place a whirl. There are a ton of things we didn't get to (kayaking out to Owen Island, snorkeling, etc.), so we'll definitely be going back one of these days! Oh, and the iguanas were wicked cool, too.
