I was a bit disappointed because I didn't see much of a difference in the hotel, expect in the lobby, area since they changed from Holiday Inn to Country Inn and remodeled. I did like that you gated the area around the hotel and you have to have a key to enter. The staff was friendly except for the shuttle driver; he was a bit rude. For the money the hotel is fine.
The room is good, the location is great, right off the highway. The hotel is your average Red Rood, I like the hotel brand. The price is decent and you get comfy clean beds. No hair dryer. The front desk clerks were RUDE and unfriendly, both the night and morning ones!
check in took quite awhile i understand it was after hours but it was honestly the longest checkin ive had in awhile and i travel for work and i live out of hotels. lengthy check in makes anyone cranky after a thirteen hour drive.

"Nice hotel close to shopping center & university"
Hotel needs some updating. Sofa bed was not up to standards. Mattress was torn and very used. Breakfast could be upgraded. Same breakfast Saturday and Monday and not very welcoming. Pool area was very cold.
my flight was canceled so I was tired and frustrated. the staff let me check in a little early. I really appreciated their help when they didn't have to let me check in.
the cost was minimal and since I had to rent a car and a hotel for the night unexpectedly, it was helpful.
"Your front desk staff was really friendly made you"
If I had to go back to El Paseo I would stay with you again the only thing that was wrong was not enough parking for handicap cars and the location it hard to park and walk out and your parking is gone because the person up star took your spot and he was jumping the stars two at a time. Boy that was a waking up exercise to see the plate on his car said that he was a war injured vet.
Other than that it was Excellent stay with you all.
West El Paso lies west of the Franklin Mountains which basically divide El Paso into two sections. Located on the Rio Grande River across the border from Mexico, El Paso is home to the site of the annual Sun Bowl, the University of Texas at El Paso. The Chamizal National Memorial, along the international border, commemorates a milestone in the peaceful settlement of a century-long boundary dispute Mexico and the United States.
