This was the only hotel that I could find for this date, most required a two-night minimum stay and we only needed one night. But this was an incredible hotel. There are no TVs in the rooms which didn't bother us at all since we only really used the room to sleep, plus there are so many amenitites on the property to keep you occupied. We checked in around 9:30pm on a Saturday night and there was still plenty to do-- We roasted marshmallows at the fire pit outside of the bar, we swam in the pool and took a dip in the hot tub. In the morning we took a walk through the Organic Garden and ate at the breakfast buffet. I wish I had more time to explore the rest of the amenities, I will definitely stay here the next time I'm in Leavenworth and I've already recommended it to multiple coworkers. I work in a large downtown Seattle hotel and I really appreciate the special touches in the guestrooms, and especialy considering the thoughtfulness and intent around sustainability. I loved the heated towel racks, soap/shampoo dispensers in the shower, soft towels, comfy robes, large windows, and the helpful property guide book.
We have been going to Wenatchee every summer for about 35 years and plan to move there. We have stayed at many motels/hotels and have found the one that we plan on staying at from now on. Everything was wonderful. The breakfast is really good with plenty of eating room and the coffee is available anytime during the day, and it is super good . We love going bike riding around the Apple Loop and it is accessible from the hotel. We also really enjoy watching the Apple Sox baseball team. Another favorite is the Riverside Park area. It's loaded with fun things to do even if it's just sitting by the awesome Columbia River and reading or people watching. The downtown area is so inviting and lots of cute shops and restaurants. The thing we love the most is the warm and friendly people of Wenatchee. I'd recommend the Chieftain Hotel to anyone and we plan on going back as soon as possible.

We just stayed one night but the room was very clean and welcoming. The staff at check in and check out were extremely nice. The buffet breakfast was really good and very fresh. The wait staff were also excellent. Definitely will go again.
The Obertal Inn was just as nice as the pictures indicated. The Obertal sits 2 blocks back, behind the main strip, and it's very nice to not hear all the traffic, and people. The hot tub was relaxing, and the staff was very nice. The rooms were very clean. The breakfast was slighter better than most places I've stayed at. There's guaranteed parking for one vehicle, and cable TV.
Nice big room. Frige with freezer. No view but a great price and super nice staff with sense of humor.
I only wish that it was closer to downtown somI could get a good cup of coffee. Oh yeah, the coffee was bad but then the coffee is always bad at motels. I didn't try the breakfast.
We have stayed in several area hotels in and near Wenatchee. This is easily the nicest. From the rooms, to the breakfast, to the service. Everything was top notch. We will definitely stay here again when we come over the mountains.
