“Great stay!”

Location was central to everything I wanted. Pool area was great. Lounge was nice. Room wasn't super modern, but offered everything that I needed (plenty of space, TV, free internet, refrigerator, large sliding glass door, comfortable beds. I will definitely stay here again after trying several other Wausau hotels with little success.

The service and consideration given to us when we stayed at your hotel was above and beyond what we expected. We will recommend this hotel to our friends and family. Area recommendations
The area around the Plaza Hotel and the area of the location of Sam's Club and Walmart. I really like to go to Wausau and am gradually learning the city and the surrounding areas.
Getting around
There is some construction in Wausau at this time, but the road markings are done will so this does not cause a problem.
Shopping
I like to go to the mall, expecially Yonkers but sometimes have a hard time getting to it.

“Run-down creepy Motel”

The hotel was not as nice as what I had expected it to be, but was clean upon walking into the lobby. After confirming that we had a king size bed but most importantly that it was a non smoking room, we entered our room to find that it smelled horribly of smoke. They switched our room...several times...at 10:30 at night...one of the rooms not even having towels. Not a pleasant stay and don't recommend.

“price was right”

For the price of the hotel it was worth it and the pool area was great! They were remodeling some of the hotel so there were a lot of areas that were messy.

“Nice location”

Go to the Wright Place On 6th. It was named Discover Wisconsin Magazines "One of the most exciting culinary experiences in Wisconsin"

“I will definately return!”

I really like this hotel! It's charming and cozy, and the desk staff (Sandi) was amazing! I will be honest, this is an older hotel so there will be some wear and tear as can only be expected. However, the room was SPOTLESS and the staff was super. Our son had so much fun in the kiddie pool and playing arcade games and I was pleasantly surprised that they had such a nice breakfast. I will certainly stay here again when in the area.

“DON'T STAY HERE....EVER!!!”

We were to stay here over Christmas and arrived at the hotel. Upon entering the main door to check-in, there was a water leak between the front door and the sliding door and again before arriving at the check-in desk. We checked in and were supposed to have a king size bed in the room and when we arrived at the room, we only had a queen size bed. Not to mention on the way in the side door to our room, we entered the side door to find yet ANOTHER LEAK in front of the elevator to go to the 2nd floor. Upon exiting the elevator on the 2nd floor, there was yet ANOTHER leak...more or less a waterfall! We called down to the front desk to inquire about getting a king size room and she said one was available. When I asked if there was a whirlpool room available, she said no that they were all dirty. I am in the process of trying to get a credit back on my credit card and the manager is claiming there were no leaks!!! VERY SHADY!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

“Great value - big room”

The hotel was not a new hotel but it was very clean and the room was big. The bed was very comfy.

“hotel was old and rooms were dingy and smelt”

I thought the pool area was nice but nothing elese was nice. hotel very out dated and the room furniture was old and worn. the bathroom was very small. i would NOT go back there even if the room was for free
