“Good Value”

This was not a luxury hotel by any stretch, but for the price, it was an excellent value. Rooms were fairly large and clean. Situated between two super markets. If I go to Wausau again, I'd probably stay here again.

“Can't beat the price”

The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Morning breakfast was good - nothing fancy but enough variety was available. I heard very little noise from the hallways or from other rooms wile I was there. The staff was friendly during check in and check out. I would stay here again.

“Convenient and economical”

We only stayed at this hotel for one night prior to our flight home. We found the hotel very convenient to the highway, shopping - situated within walking distance of two grocery stores and with malls nearby - and close to local attractions. Our room was clean and neat, if somewhat small; the staff was friendly and responsive. We would book here again when we fly thru Wausau.

“would never stay here again if they paid me!”

I would never go to this dive again! This was my 4th stay here and each time it got worse. From the puke running down the box spring to the snot on the ceiling..it was disgusting! It was suppose to be smoke free yet it reeked for smoke in the hallway. Dogs barking, people sitting outside drinking beer and swearing at their kids, it sure wasn't a safe feeling to have to walk by these people to get in and out. I think we, the public, should be informed that this Hotel is a place for homeless people to stay and the salvation army pays for a months stay for them. When I saw the dectective taking measurements and pictures in one of the entries..that was it! WHAT happened??..hmm NO ONE seems to know! Not a safe place..we were actually scared to stay there but my money was non-refundable!! so we had no choice but to stay there. I was never so happy to get out of there and I certainly won't be back!!

“great for the price”

This hotel is located one block from Marathon park. Located close to the hospital. Good hotel choice if you are looking to save a few bucks, and don't need a pool.

“Decent”

The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is priced right for what you get. No bugs or issues like that. I will be back next year at this time.

“Worst hotel experience ever!!!”

We stayed at this hotel not only because it was a reasonable price but it was on our way to our destination. We arrived late in the evening approx. 7pm. Checked in and was directed to room 109 which was right across from the vending machines and side entry on the first floor. i own a cleaning service and I immediately found dust and grime all over !!! THERE WAS EVEN HAIR ON THE CEILING IN THE BATHROOM!!! At approximately 12 midnite a bunch of drunks came in and were being very loud in the hallway and it seemed like it took them forever to find their room. Not long after that the room above us got noisy and everytime someone flushed the toilet it sounded like there was water running into our room!! We finally fell asleep in a very tiny bed at around 2am and got woken up at 7am by people going to the complimentary breakfast which the coffee was watered down and the bisquits and gravy were ice cold!! When we checked out we informed the front desk of our experience and the clerk said in a very snobbish voice "Im so sorry" I don't get out of town very often and it took alot of coaxing to get me to go on this trip because I didn't wanna leave my animals and I have to say this was the worst motel I ever stayed in!!

“Clean and simple.”

The room was clean and adequate for our needs.

Pros: Affordable, plenty of parking, generally clean rooms and bathrooms, cheap pet fees Cons: Service at front desk, rooms could use repairs, noise (thin walls and doors), maid service not complete in my room (although I saw the maids in the halls before leaving), really uncomfortable bed
