My reservations were cancelled two days before by text saying they ran out of the room I booked and paid for a month earlier. After calling and complaining they hooked me up with a single bed. When I got to my room I found it to be dirty, the fire alarm wasnt there, the lock on the door was not there, and the air conditioning unit did not work. I asked for another room and they said sorry and I could check out for a refund. Not a good experience at all.

This place was absolutely HORRIBLE! The staff was RUDE, yelled at me, and called me dumb all because he said Expedia didn't send him the right room that id booked. It was so dirty inside, smelled like Marijuana, and the hotel room had blood on the wall! The staff also screamed at a guest that asked for his key to be rescanned bc it wouldnt work anymore. I felt very unsafe in this place! NOTHING lIke the pictures on booking site! Looks more like an hourly rate room would look like. DO NOT BOOK HERE!

The front desk was very very rude! I booked a double bed and only had a single bed, had the receipt to show him and he yelled at me and told me i qas ceazy! There was blood on the wall and the whole building looked so dirty and smelled of Marijuana. He hung up on people calling the front desk and when someone came down and told him his key wouldnt work, the front desk guy yelled at him and told him he would do his key this time but he needed to leave his door open if he left again. They wouldn't give me a refund since i couldnt stay at the hotel since he said no more rooms were available. The hotel looked more like qn hourly rate then a weekend stay. Worse experience I've ever had at a hotel!

I asked for early check in, if possible. He said 2pm, as he didn't get cleaners until 12 noon. At 2 pm he says he told me 230.I decided to just wait in my car until 3. Hallways filthy. Bed skirt ripped, caulking in room terrible, smoke detector hanging down from wall. TV did not work.

Got there they put us in a room that was not nasty, they changed our room heat didn't work. Our friends room had dead bugs all over it. We were completely disappointed and will never stay there again.

Area was nice. But when we arrived at 8pm the room wasnt completely clean. At check in the owner told us give them 20 minutes and so we went to eat came back and room still wasnt finished after 35 minutes. The owner came up and had to finish vacuuming and i used their cleaner and wrag to clean sink counter and tup. Other then that the stay was good

What I liked was the friendly staff. They made me feel as if I was part of their family. As I sat eating breakfast I noticed that the experience was not unique to me. I noticed the same friendly conversation with other guests. They asked about family members and how they are doing. That was very impressive! That atmosphere does not exist in most hotels that I have stayed in. The industry is about hospitality and that is what I experienced. I was in town for the high school playoffs and if our team makes it again I already know what hotel I will book with. Last but not least a special thank you to the staff member who helped my nephew make waffles, he is still talking about it! A place where children are welcomed and not treated like they are a pain…lol! I most certainly will return!!!

There were 4 of us but only 2 towels and wash cloths. Called the desk for more towels and wash cloths. Kiki said she eould send some up but no one ever showed. Made getting ready for the 4 of us a challenge.

The front desk lady that checked us in was amzing. She was kind, respectful, and very kind. The room price was very affordable. Very limited breakfast. Waffles, juice, cereal and toast and fresh fruit. The room was clean but it definitely a much older proprty. We had to plung our toilet everytime we flushed. It seemed to be an outsidd facing motel at one point in time and then they closed it off. But thats just my guess. Staff was great!

Horrible experience. OK then walk down the hallway because there’s rolls of carpet and rollaway beds. Two girls thought outside my room slapping each other around calling names. My roommate called 911. Screaming hollering it was horrific and the ground is very unsafe. It’s not level. The concrete is not put together like it should be at the entrances and it’s not safe to walk. Be careful.

The property was dirty, in disrepair and smelled like mold and dust. The carpets were dirty, I don't think they vacuumed in several months. There was mold in the bathroom. The smoke detector was hanging off of the wall and there was popcorn under our bed.....we did NOT bring popcorn with us on our trip. We will not be staying here again.

This place was absolutely terrible. Waited a very long time to check in. There was about 10 of us in the lobby waiting for someone to come to front desk to check us in. I did call down to front desk and request an extra pillow and blanket. Front desk said yeah but you have to come get it. WTH?! They gave them to me “new in bags” and handed me the pillow cases for. Floors and walls were dirty. Rooms was the worst. Carpets weren’t vacuumed. The refrigerator had food of some sort, looked like lettuce, that was left on the back and had turned color. Bathroom Floor was gross. Same for the bathtub. I have a kid that has bite marks all up and down her arms, we found a little bug on her bed. I’m guessing it’s bed bugs. We have pictures of everything. Check out was at 12, we left at 7:30 when we woke up. Wasn’t staying another minute. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. This was last resort because everything was booked. Next time I come visit my son for college, I’ll drive to Waterloo or spend the extra money for something nicer.

Check in was at 3pm. We arrived at 4 and they stated that our room was not ready. We went and ate. Called and they said give us another 45 minutes. We did and then they wanted another 39 minutes. We finally got in room at 8:25pm. Only offer was if we return, they would give us a free room. WOW

We had asked twice before arriving for a ground floor due to mobility issues, but only received a 2nd floor. We also had to have staff come up to address TV not working and Microwave/Freezer issues... Staff, however, was able to address all issues & correct them
