Our signature restaurant, Carmichael’s Restaurant & Lounge Bar, serves exquisite meals that make the most of

Northern Territory produce. Naturally, the bar is always popular for a cool beverage after your day out at the canyon.

Of course, the one thing you must not miss is the romantic ‘Under a Desert Moon’ experience - an intimate dinner of fine Australian food and wines under a canopy of stars (seasonal). For a complete indulgence, enjoy one of our Deluxe Spa Rooms overlooking a rocky escarpment.

Desert Oaks Bistro

For a quick meal on the run, the Desert Oaks Bistro offers a selection of light meals, beverages and snacks. Come and grab breakfast from 7am to 10am. You can select from our delicious lunch menu between 10am and 3pm. The bistro is open for dinner from 6.30 to 8.30pm (seasonal) and features an a-la-carte menu including steak, chicken and seafood, in relaxed outback surrounds.

Outback BBQ & Grill

The Outback BBQ & Grill is a true Australian Outback experience offering a selection of contemporary Australian BBQ cuisine. Enjoy a-la-carte BBQ-style fare, fresh vegetables, salads, and a wide selection of wines, spirits, ales and soft drinks. Open for dinner from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. Revel in the friendly atmosphere, mixing with other guests under a solid roof with open sides - a traditional outback veranda. This casual bar and grill also provides live entertainment during peak season, which is generally April to October.

The Desert Oaks Bistro and Outback BBQ & Grill are closed from 1st November till 25st April.

The Thirsty Dingo Bar

As the sun sets over the desert landscape, enjoy a drink from the bar before dinner. Open from 2.00pm daily until late. Pizzas are served from 6.00pm - 8.00pm. This is the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring the wonders of Watarrka National Park.

Carmichael’s Restaurant & Lounge Bar

Our signature restaurant offers a delicious a la carte or buffet selection set in warm, inviting surrounds overlooking a lush desert garden. Open for breakfast (5.30am to 9.30am), lunch (11.00am to 2.00pm) and dinner (6.30pm to 9.30pm). Enjoy quality food and wine as well as our famous outback hospitality.
