“Best 5 star hotel in dc hands down!!! Wish we could of stayed longer.”
The moment you pull up to this hotel you feel like Royalty. This is what great hotels are suppose to feel like just like the 4 star restaurants do. Front desk managers conciere all make sure you are in the finest hotel. The rooms perfect beds shower amazing first rate beauty products in bathroom . Breakfast was amazing the brunch and if you stay there you will agree it's just that good. Can't wait to go back!!
“Ritz”
We have now stayed here three times in the last year. The hotel is excellent; food is wonderful and the Ritz offers a great all around package. However, what makes the place shine is the staff: Everyone is there to help you, from top to bottom. You are made to feel welcome from the moment you arrive and there is none of the attitude you sometimes receive at a hotel like this. Room size is generous and you are only a 15 minute walk from Georgetown or a short walk to the Metro at Foggy Bottom or Dupont Circle. This one is highly recommended.
“Better than expected”
Very attentive staff, wonderful food, overall great experience. I highly recommend.
“DC location”
We were VERY impressed with the service, unfortunately the room was a little tired. Stains on chair and pillow. Paint chipped. The service was over and above the top. We would go for just the service. Love the Ritz!
“Look forward to going back!”
The hotel was well maintained and very clean. The bathrooms were very bright and roomy! We loved them. We will definitely return.
“Poor Service”
The hotel, service and staff were all very nice until we hit breakfast. The service was terrible. After 20 minutes I went looking around the hotel for a server. When I found one I was told that they were "busy". Finally a few minutes later our order was taken. We waited 30 minutes for our order to arrive and the food,of course, was stone cold. The bill, however, was promptly delivered. It is amazing to me that so much effort could be extended in all the other areas of the hotel to great success and the staff fail so badly at this basic service. Unfortunately this ruined my experience. For some reason I often seem to encounter problems with breakfast at Ritz Carlton Hotels. If an experience like this wouldn't upset you, there are many other aspects of the hotel that are very excellent.
“GREAT EXPERIENCE”

“Only one flaw”
My only complaint with this hotel is that you cannot get a free cup of coffee anywhere on the premises. No coffeemakers in rooms, no complimentary coffee in the bar, nothing. You had to go into the restaurant, sit down, and order the coffee. We were looking for a cup to take on the go. The staff is very accommodating. The hotel is well maintained and the people at the front desk and concierge are very knowledgeable and helpful.
“One of Washington's top 3”
The Ritz-Carltons are in the top 3 hotel chains world wide. Fast but professional in everyway from car to room and once in room everyone in hotel greets you by name. rooms/suites are great size, bedding and furnishings comfortable, always feel new. great service worth every dollar spent.
“Another Ritz Love Story”
The Ritz Carlton is a wonderful experience period. I do not know how they train their staff, but they should open an etiquette school. The staff is amazingly well mannered and accommodating. No want or need goes unsatisfied. I love this and all Ritz hotels and would recommend this chain to everyone, anywhere in the world.
