“Large room, good facilities”

We are family of 4 (Kids 12 & 10) - Room was very spacious with kids on a sofa bed (though hotel provided extra padding which was great). Cooking facilities was fantastic and saved us a significant amount of money - the Safeway (grocery store) was about 4-5 blocks away so walk-able carrying groceries. The National Mall and major monuments/museums were all about 1km away which we walked howeved the subway station is less than 2 blocks away if needed. There was some construction going on close to the hotel but we didn't have any issues with noise.

“Great little hotel”

I took my two teenagers to Washington for almost a week to see the capitol and the museums. This hotel was just perfect for us. We had plenty of room for all three of us and the kitchen was great. There is a Metro station just a couple of blocks from Eldon and a very nice Safeway about four blocks away. If the weather is nice it is within walking distance from the White house, about 10-15 min. The one drawback for us was all the construction going on in the area and all the associated noise and traffic.

“Great Deal with Comfort and Convinence!”

The Eldon was the perfect place to stay for my conference at the convention center, half a block away, and within a mile or so walk to all the museums and historical locations of D.C. or a metro train ride away for those not fond of walking (stop located at the convention center). The room was very clean, the staff very friendly and responsive to requests, but I wouldn't say they went above an beyond what I expected for the price. Amazing price for having a full kitchen and plenty of space! There are some buildings on the block that are being torn down and redone, but it is a safe and friendly neighborhood. We will stay here again if we go back to D.C.

“Fully equipped suite for the price of a hotel room the closest property top the convention centre”

I first stayed in the Eldon suites some 18 months ago shortly after it opened. Standards and service remain high. Suites are extremely well appointed with walk in shower and closets and fully equipped kitchen. Cable TV with premium channels completes the amenities. Staff are friendly and helpful. Ideally located a mere 2 minute walk from the convention centre. The surrounding area is still being regenerated and new Marriott Marquis is being built just opposite. Easy access to restaurants in the China town area, an easy walk to Pennsylvania Avenue, museums, the White House and Capitol. Highly recommended.

“Better than expected”

It came with a full kitchen and separate bedroom, which is great as we had a toddler along. The staff was very helpful. The only thing I would have liked different was that there was no WiFi in the room, though there was an ethernet connection available.

“Affordable luxury”

Beautiful Hotel. Cant believe how affordable it was considering the great location (10 minute walk to White House or Mall) and the fact that you had a fully equipped kitchen. Although next door is a building site we were not disturbed by any noise. Very safe location for a family. The only problem was the sofabed for the kids. Worst sofabed ever - very uncomfortable. Thankfully kids were so tired at the end of the day they could sleep on anything. Very nice continental breakfast, great pastries - nicest we had in all of America.

“Decent Hotel”

The hotel interior was very nice but the hotel does not offer a restaurant or a bar, and they charge for parking which is not advertised on the offer. Their continental breakfast consists of frozen breakfast sandwiches and cold cereal, the cost is well over what it is worth. Overall I would have spent a little more money for a nicer hotel that had better amenities.
