“Not impressed.”
Rooms were ok. I had to have my room switched 3 times before I got a room with linen that looked cleaned. I will admit the concierge was (Kasim) was very accomodating.
“Excellent location if you go training.”
It's the best location if you go training at the ACE Center. Or you want a location near NASA or NSA Museums.
“Affordable comfort”
This hilton garden inn hotel offered a good service and nice spacious rooms for a reasonable price. The beds where really nice and comfortable.
“Greenbelt's finest”
The plan was to attend a 1 day event being held at the hotel and I decided to stay at the hotel and avoid any travel time. Found the staff and hotel outstanding and will do the same again when there's a Greenbelt event.
“Greenbelt takes a step back”
We stayed here last year after the "blackout" and it was better then. This time we had problems from the beginning: 1. First room had a musty order - like mold or mildew, 2. The second room the door wouldn't close without slamming it -- sure the other occupants really liked that. 3. Only one elevator worked. 4. Side entrance wouldn't allow for key entry - had to go around to front entrance. 5. Breakfast service was lacking -- had to pour own water & coffee -- food good otherwise. Otherwise the bed was good and the halls were quiet.
“Great Location”
Slight problem when we first arrived-there were no non-smoking rooms left so 1 out of 4 nights was in a smoking room. It smelled like smoke. As we had requested a nonsmoking room they provided us with a free dinner and breakfast buffet. The nonsmoking room was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful (especially Darius). The location was great-the first night we drove up to Baltimore (30 min) to see the Red Sox and Orioles play. The remaining days we took the Metro from Greenbelt into DC (30 min). I would definitely stay here again.
“Ups & Downs”
This hotel was very nice and the staff were helpful and friendly. It does have its ups and downs, though. The restaurant in the lobby has great food (upper), but is fairly expensive and the charge for the continental breakfast is outrageous if you only want a small breakfast (downer). They had given us a room with 2 queens when we requested a king (downer), then after we had been there 2 nights asked us if we would move to a king room to accomodate the dozens of high school kids that had come in. They gave us complimentary coupons for the dinner and breakfast, which was nice (upper). The king room they offered us was a handicap room so the bath was not right for us (downer). We also liked the shuttle service to the metro station (upper), but not the 50 minute wait to be picked up at the station later (downer). Overall the 6 nights we stayed there were comfortable. A high-cost hotel with a low-cost hotel service and feel.
“Next Time in Beltsbille, MD”
Enjoyed by all Will return
“Great, but not up to Hilton standards”
Very nice staff and overall very nice hotel with nice indoor pool and free wi-fi, but: double thermostats in room with no exlanation of how to set, never left enough bath towels in the room, too soft of beds (King rooms have adjustable beds), lousy coffe in room, too expensive breakfast, very limited swim hours due to regulation of having a lifeguard, VERY squeaky treadmill, 1 washer broken whole week, shuttle did not start until 8:30 AM, and worst was them checking someone else into our room (and that person having access to our room) during our stay.
“69 year old Sanity Rally participant from Seattle”
The only suggestion I have for them is to give better directions to the Greenbelt metro stop, like "It is 3 miles away. Take our complimentary van."
