Nothing special

Posted 28-Sep-2014
Pros: Clean, and good wifi
Cons: Room configuration is odd, but it's not something that can be fixed without major renovation
Location: Excellent location, loads of restaurants in walking distance
I've seen better hotels at twice the price, but not at that location in the center of Washington.

Cons: Has the feel of a high end hotel for trysts. Staff was awesome and down-to-earth, but the decor was too hip, felt like a dance club.
Friendly staff, immaculate hotel; but decor was like a dance club.

Funky and friendly in DC.

This is a nice little boutique hotel in a fairly quiet area. Called early and they said I could have an early check in, but was found to be in error when I arrived...so they upgraded my room. Friendly staff, free wine tasting every day, comfy room, zebra print robes! Be sure to rock out to the alternative hits of the 90s in the elevator! Also make sure you join the free rewards program for FREE wifi...otherwise it's 10 bucks a day.

Alright Place to Stay

Hotel staff should remember their customers. The lady who was there at check-in, and helped me with directions the next day didn't even remember me the day after that. My advice, pay attention to those who pay your bills.

Amazing

Posted 01-Sep-2014
Pros: I loved that everything was drowning in Andy Warhol and neon.
Location: Close to the metro which was a short subway ride away to all the sites and the hotel was a 6-9 minute walk to the White House.
The hotel was amazing and very convenient to the white house and the metro. Everything is drowning in pop culture. The food was great, drinks were strong, and room was really interesting. I would recommend this hotel for any stay in DC. Also, it was so great to walk in from your long day of activities and receive a glass of free wine on the patio.

nice hoted

The hotel was a bit far from the museums. Next time I would book a hotel closer to the monuments and museums. The hotel room and bathroom were very clean. They offered a nice complimentary happy hour and breakfast with a coffee bar included in the price. The staff was friendly. I lived in DC before, so I do know that the area around the hotel was once run down and not safe.It has improved since then, but I would not walk around the immediate area at night for nightlife and bars and entertainment.

Unique hotel and good price

Second stay there. The third floor had a very unpleasant smell in the hallway. But the room was fine. No unpleasant odors inside of the room.

Great boutique hotel. Not far from nightlife but quiet.
