“Excellent Stay!”
Staff was 5 Star. Hotel was clean. Easy to access Public Transport, Taxis, Airport, etc...
“Near Chinatown and Verizon Center”
I chose this hotel because it was near the Verizon Center, which is where my wife and I attended the Andrea Bocelli concert our first night. It is also right next to Chinatown, where we found excellent dining opportunities, including a nice Indian restaurant. The hotel is within walking distance of the White House and the Mall, and there is a Metro stop at the Verizon Center, just two blocks away. The accommodations were excellent. Breakfast was above average for a free hotel breakfast. Everything went well.
“Great location for the price”
I was in DC for a conference and this location was just as close if not closer than the three conference hotels and for almost half the price. The hotel was very clean and decorated great for Christmas. The breakfast was excellent with hot and cold selections that changed daily. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who needs to be close to the conference center or just the downtown area in general.
“BEST hotel stay EVER”
This may sound strange, but this was honestly my best hotel experience EVER. From the moment I arrived, I had no problems. The room was super clean, spacious, and came with a fridge and microwave. Each morning, there was a great breakfast selection with both hot options and continental breakfast options. The breakfast was some of the best breakfast I've had, anywhere. In the afternoon, the hotel had apples and cookies available. The customer service was also top notch. I was greeted each day after arriving and always always responded to immediately when I had a question, needed a cab, etc. I was traveling with four other people and they also had these same experiences. I will definitely be back.
“Great experience”
My stay at this hotel was great. The entire room was clean and comfortable, including the bathroom. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast had a lot to offer.
“The perfect location”
During our recent trip to DC to tour the Smithsonian museums, we stayed at the Hampton Inn and were impressed with its convenient location within walking distance of the sights. We traveled with our 2 daughters (ages 13 + 9) and were hoping to find a hotel that would satisfy all. The Hampton Inn was the perfect choice! We were met by very friendly staff, received good restaurant recommendations for dinner, enjoyed the pool, and were very pleased with the complimentary breakfast. The room was comfortable in temperature, well maintained and quiet.
“Excellent hotel in a great location with an excellent staff.”
We stayed during three nights and our overall experience was GREAT.
“Very Good DC Hotel”
Great location, a bit expensive, but all of DC seems expensive. Only issue was hot water seemed in short supply at times.
“Very Impressed - I'll visit again”
Hotel staff was excellent; hotel was clean and comfortable; breakfast was excellent; always felt safe in the neighborhood; and the hotel is close to the Metro as well as 7th Street shops and restaurants.
“Comfortable, Convenient”
Great Location for night life and sight seeing. Staff was all great except gave the maid who gave us trouble when we got locked out of our room. it was excellently priced even when you include the $35 a night valet parking because it's convenient and they are very fast. Will be back soon!

Downtown Washington D.C., District of Columbia, United States of America: Downtown DC is awash with culture. The Smithsonian Institution museum complex flanks the National Mall. Moneyed and powerful lobbyists help create (and quash) laws from K Street. Chinatown and the Washington Convention Center lie east of downtown.
