“"Only because of price"”

The only reason I stay at this Marriott Courtyard is because of the price and free parking. The other Marriott Courtyards in Washington, DC are at least $100.00 more a day plus parking can run from $25 - $50 per day. Certainly location can't be the only reason for the big difference. The service is sub-standard. I get the feeling from staff that it's a job to them and can give a dam about service.

“LOVED IT!!!!”

LOVED IT! Loved the room, house keeping was amazing! Loved the pool! Loved the courtyard! Loved the Starbucks! Nice area too! ...Just a heads up the parking is free and they do put a 80.00 hold on your card for any damages, but the hold does get taken off after you book out.

“Worth the money!”

We had called ahead of time to make sure we could get a room with a balcony. They said yes but when we got there they only had balcony rooms with one bed. We had four people and needed two beds. I had stayed at a courtyard in north Tampa Fl a few months earlier and it was very nice. This one was older and had not been remodeled yet and was kind of dated. Other than that it was nice and the staff was very friendly. It had a Fridays right down the street and was close to the Metro. Not close enough to walk but a short drive away.

“Will use this again.”

I usually travel to Greenbelt Maryland three or four times a year. I like staying at the Courtyard because it is convenient to where I do my visit, it is easy to get to (close to Route 295), has a nice park for walking nearby, and is close to shops, restaurants,etc. The fitness room and swimming pool are very convenient and I often avail of them. Plus, the internet connection is good for my laptop. It offers everything I need when I am away from home on business at a convenient price. I recently spent a night there while on a personal trip.

“Very nice hotel with a convenient location.”

The hotel was very nice, clean and quiet. The room was fairly large and comfortable. The only complaint is that the TV is an older model which required "tweaking" to get it to work right.

“Quiet and clean!”

Room was clean and quiet. No problems at all.

Area recommendations

We stayed here while visiting DC. It was only about a 20 minute drive into town.

The only thing we didn't know was that the internet cable was in a bag in the closet ... we didn't find this out until we went out and bought one.

“Comfortable- wish had some smoking rooms.”

We went to DC, had family near, was able to get to metro by bus or cab. Only wish hotel had a shuttel to the metro. Other than that, it was a nice quiet place to stay & staff was friendly.
