Recently stayed for 2 nights for a trip to DC. Hotel clean, complimentary breakfast was wonderful. Eggs, breakfast meat, potatoes, Belgium waffles, yogurt fruit oatmeal, donuts, cereal. So there is somethin for everyone. Beds were comfortable. Staff nice and helpful. 24 hour coffee, tea, hot chocolate in lobby. 24 hour shuttle to metro was great. No waiting. All in all a good value to see DC without too much of an inconvenience being outside the city.

Janet the front desk manager called me to verify the notes I added to my client’s reservation. I asked for a room on the highest room with a view if possible. They were able to accommodate my client and he loved the room. They also sent my client a complimentary bottle of wine to mark my clients Birthday Celebration. I actually saw the room myself and it was very nice. It was very clean and had plenty of space. I will be sending more clients to the Embassy Suites in the very near future. Thank you
"Great hotel, near Arlington Cemetary and Metro Tra"
Came to the area to visit Arlington Cemetary and see the Columbarium section. Wanted to be close to Arlington and near Metro. There is a link right in the hotel to walk down underground tunnel and get the Metro. 2 stops from the Pentegon and 3 stops to Arlington.
Forget the Metro- nice as it is. For those looking to visit Arlington Cemetary and the National Mall memorials, stay here and use taxi cabs! Door to door for less than 10 bucks a pop (add tip please) without all the walking between metro, bus, and the sites you wish to visit.
These guys have a "real" free buffet in the mornings, and the staff were exceptionally helpfull to us first time visitors.
Once they saw my son's Iraq war veteran ball cap, they couldn't do enough for us.
It was humbling for us to receive such excllemt treatment.
The Hilton next to Dulles is an exquisite hotel. Some opportunities:
1. The staff did not inform where breakfast is going to be at check-in
2. Being informed about breakfast not being included would have helped and the typical cost of breakfast before hand to evaluate options.
3. The elevator has a broken mirror wall that has been patched up with tape - not sure if being fixed but it does ruin brand and imagery. Attending to these matters asap is a must.
