Walton Hall is a lovely hotel in fantastic grounds

Posted 23-Jun-2014
Pros: Location,Atmosphere and grounds,
Make sure you are getting a room in the main part of the hall,as there is a chance you may be located in the annexe or coach house, these rooms are 3star at the best otherwise very good place to stay.

Beautiful location, comfortable and good value

Posted 09-Jun-2014
The hotel is large and the hall, which could be stunning, feels a bit corporate. The staff were lovely and quietly attentive. The room enormous and a bit bleak. If ever a house wanted opulence this is it! Breakfast was filling but a little unimaginative. Well worth a visit.

Another Fabulous Stay

Posted 03-Mar-2014 on Hotels.com
Once again, we just love to visit Walton Hall...and only thanks to the great deals we get on Hotels.com!! One small negative was the rather pungent smell of 'drains' in our otherwise superb room. Can't wait for the next visit

We booked Walton Hall as a present for a Golden Anniversary and they were over the moon with their room place and and the area. They said they would definitely go again and were so happy that the staff were so helpful and attentive there was nothing more that Walton Hall could offer that would make it better! Many thanks to the hotel for making their celebration so special.

As regular visitors we are NEVER disappointed !!!!

Posted 07-Feb-2014 on Hotels.com
We visit Walton Hall/Hotel at least twice a year for both business and pleasure. This time we had superb room/rooms in the Hall itself and were treated like 'family'!! The 'extras' made our stay just that little bit 'special' even though this was a business visit. It's my birthday in three weeks time and guess where we have booked...??...a three day PLEASURE visit to Walton Hall once again. For comfort, views and surroundings, restaurant and ALL STAFF service and sheer friendliness Walton Hall and Hotel just cannot be beaten. Thanks once again

Great hotel for a romantic getaway

Posted 10-Dec-2013
Pros: Modern & contemporary
Cons: Heating/cooling system. Unable to open windows to cool the room.
Location: About 7 miles from Stratford. We ate at a pub called the Checkers Inn which was lovely.
We were in room 32 of the Hall and it was lovely with really nice bathroom area. Our only issue with the room was that the heating was unbareable. It was so hot in the room we found it difficult to sleep. Just make sure you turn off all the heating as soon as you arrive!

nice staff, nice food, basic bedrooms

The Hall is a lovely building with beautiful downstairs rooms and bar but the bedrooms are basic. We stayed in the coach house part and were dissapointed in the room but the staff were all very friendly and nice and the food was very good, the location stunning

Great Hotel Just Book Your Table Early

Posted 05-Nov-2013 on Hotels.com
On the day we were given the option to upgrade to the honeymoon suite for just a bit more which was well worth it as it meant were were in the old hall istself which has big rooms, high ceilings. The Bathroom was opulant and the views from the room were superb. The main gripe I would have is that the were no tables left in the Halls restaurant when we checked in. If I had know this would happen I would have booked it weeks ago when I orignally booked the room.

3* hotel at 5* prices

Posted 02-Nov-2013
Pros: Location was great, but hotel was 'tired'.There are other hotels in the area offering more for the same price.
Cons: That for the management to solve, not me.
Location: Location was fine. Warwick and Stratford on Avon only a few minutes away. heritage Motor Museum nearby. Ideal base for touring the area.
Expected more from a prestige location. Very disappointed.

Comfy beds but rooms were a bit dull as we stayed in the coach house not the main hotel. Good value though and lovely breakfast with lovely views
